El Otel Hotel

This is a homestay in an old building. If you don't call the homestay staff to help you find the way, you can't find it by yourself. The environment is not really quiet, and the surrounding residents are very noisy at night. The facilities in the room are simple, there is no place to hang clothes, and the air conditioner is leaking. Only two bottles of water were delivered on the first day, and there were no more after that. The only advantage is that it is close to the city center. But online taxis in Egypt are very cheap, so you don't have to live in the city center.

I thought it was a good hotel for the price. The shower rooms and toilets are shared, so I thought women might be a little hesitant to use them. The shower temperature was difficult to adjust, so I had to use either thick or lukewarm water. The hotel is located in the city center, but it is on the 5th floor, so it was difficult to find if you were to take a taxi and get directions from a local. The exterior is old, so you might wonder if you are really there, but once you go inside, the atmosphere changes completely and it has a European feel. It is also cleaner than the outside. The elevator had a Tower of Terror-like atmosphere, so it was a valuable experience in a good way. When using the elevator for the first time, be careful because you cannot get off unless you manually push the door when you reach the floor you want lol

The air conditioner didn't work in the 40 degree high temperature. They lied to us that the air conditioner was good. The pictures and the real thing had nothing to do with each other. After three days of booking, the air conditioner problem couldn't be solved. They refused to refund the second or third day of the stay. When I communicated with Ctrip, they kept dragging their feet and only responded after one or two days.

The cleanliness is good, but there is no room service. We stayed for four nights and no one cleaned the house. We renewed the room on the last day and wanted to have the house cleaned. They said the housekeeping staff left in the morning. But the boss is very enthusiastic! The lack of room service makes me feel that the price is quite high and not worth it! It is similar to a homestay. It is recommended to stay in a hotel.
