Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile

The location is excellent and the cleanliness is good. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation after being taken over from the former Conrad. The rooms need to be updated and more attention should be paid to cleaning the balconies. The hotel's location is excellent. Also, the prices for food and beverages were cheaper during the Conrad era than they are now.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, even upgrading our room for free and granting us access to the executive lounge, which was fantastic! The night views of the Nile were stunning. We will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

My travel plans suddenly changed, so I didn't get a proper chance to experience the hotel's services. However, the lunch service and atmosphere were quite good.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's lovely to stroll along the riverbank downstairs. The room and bathroom are both very spacious, and the facilities are good. You can see the Nile River from the balcony. It would be even better if the breakfast offered more variety.

The hotel has a great location in the city center, with Nile River views from the window. The room was renovated, well-equipped, and very clean. The hotel gym was also excellent.

I'm quite disappointed with Sofitel. On the first day, we checked in very late, and my friend accidentally broke a glass. When I called housekeeping to clean it up, I had to point out many details to ensure it was properly cleaned. Even then, they missed two large pieces of broken glass, which my friend discovered while showering the next day (I won't upload the photos). The kettle in the room was also broken, indicating it probably hasn't been thoroughly checked in a while. Although the room was advertised as a river view, it was positioned in such a way that you could only see a small part of the river from the balcony. The hotel also seemed to have many events every night, which made it a bit noisy. If I had known all this, I wouldn't have booked this hotel in the first place. Overall, I'm very disappointed. I complained to the manager about the housekeeping service, but I haven't seen any improvements.

The rooms are very beautiful and spacious. I really enjoyed the breakfast and the lobby.
