Layla Hostel

The Egyptian breakfast was absolutely delicious! There's a metro station nearby, and also a farmers' market where I bought a kilo of strawberries for only 25 EGP – that's incredible! The overall atmosphere and accommodation at this hostel were fantastic. I hope to visit again next year!

This is a great hostel located in Old Cairo. They also offer single rooms, but these don't come with private bathrooms. The in-room Wi-Fi was a bit poor, and the mobile signal wasn't great either. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Most importantly, the price was affordable, making it ideal for solo travelers.

The environment is great, and the bed is very spacious.

Friendly staff and, above all, the building and facilities are excellent. It was very clean, and I felt at ease during my stay. The individual space also has high ceilings and ample room.

Wow, this place is really great and offers excellent value for money. The facilities are top-notch, and the other guests are very polite and respectful of personal space. The staff here are some of the best English speakers I've encountered in Egypt. They were incredibly caring and thoughtful when I asked them to help me communicate with locals. One lady even helped me loosely plan my itinerary for the next few days. I'd definitely love to come back and stay in one of their private rooms if I get the chance.
