InterContinental Cairo Citystars, an IHG Hotel Reviews

Breakfast is good but all keep the same ... so after 2/3 days feel bored. Poolside is quiet but some flyings. generally acceptable but if learn from Maroit management then should improve a lot.

The food and drinks were very good, the room service is also very good, the hotel holder many exhibitions, the breakfast was more crowded. Drinks & Beverages which I like most was Guava, The swimming pool were closed at 7pm.

Looking at the entire Egypt itinerary, this hotel is pretty good and cost-effective. It is next to the citystar business district and a 10-minute drive from the airport. However, it may be far away from attractions and other attractions. It takes 45 minutes to get to the pyramids.

The hotel is not far from the airport. It is adjacent to the City Star shopping mall, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. It is a bit far from the tourist attractions in Cairo. The room facilities are not as good as those of domestic five-star hotels, but they are also clean and tidy. The breakfast is good.

The worst hotel in the whole trip. First, they told me that the room type I booked was not available. The room name and picture were not from their hotel. They asked me to find Ctrip. We waited in the lobby for 2 hours and couldn't check in. Ctrip was still very active in negotiating with them. After the negotiation, the hotel agent lied to Ctrip and told me that we had upgraded to a suite. It was obviously a standard room, but it still faced the road and was very noisy. We asked them for earplugs and they said they didn't have any. However, there was a letter in the room that clearly stated that the hotel was under renovation and could provide free earplugs. There is not a single word of truth. (Later I found out that this is the case everywhere in Egypt, and it is all a lie). Ctrip still negotiated very seriously and responsibly, and dealt with it proactively in the follow-up process. But I think I found an unreliable agent. Next time Ctrip should choose an agent carefully.

The room is okay, the second floor is better, some rooms on the third floor have no sunlight, the swimming pool is very clean, it is convenient to go to the mall, there is a direct elevator, you will not get lost, and there are more varieties of breakfast

The hotel is in a good location and has a dedicated access to citystar. However, the room booked by Ctrip was in the auxiliary building. The room was quite old and I didn't even want to take a shower when I saw the shower room. Although the price of this hotel is not low among Egyptian hotels, the facilities are indeed quite poor. But the hotel service staff is not bad.

The security is very good. There are security checks when entering and exiting. It feels very safe. The shower water is very large and comfortable Next door to City Star Mall, it is convenient for shopping or going to the supermarket. The bad experience is that I didn't pay a deposit when I checked in. The waiter came and took away all the things in the minibar immediately after checking in. I felt that I didn't trust the guests. It was very slow to call to ask for a toothbrush and slippers. Anyway, it is the first choice hotel in Cairo, convenient and safe.
