Good hostel. It’s great value particularly for such as clever and convenient location! Particularly amusing is the lift, the entrance looks abandoned but the gem of a hostel is hidden!

This hotel is really great! The staff are so warm and welcoming. They even invited me to share their staff meal, which was delicious local Egyptian food. Omar, one of the staff members, is handsome and very helpful. The hygiene is also good. It's close to the Egyptian Museum and Tahrir Square, and there's even a Chinese restaurant nearby. It's definitely a good choice!

I would definitely stay here again. It looks a little scary on arrival because the stairs and walls are so dirty but inside is lovely and clean and comfortable. All the staff are amazing. HOWEVER the tours have hidden costs from 10US to 20US The lovely booklet they give you has barely any details and no prices.the Nile cruise I booked was in the dark, the pyramids cost 80US plus tickets which I was not made aware of! Payable by card only. The overnight desert trip was amazing although that also cost an extra 10US cash only plus a cash tip for the drivers and I did not know it was a 5 hour trip there and 5 hours back. I was told I the desert trip was transfers to and from hotel. But when leaving the desert we were told Cairo is too busy and they would only drop off at two locations. The young Japanese girl did not understand and was left on the side of the road with a flat phone, little English and told to catch herself a taxi to her hotel it was disgusting! Next time I will not book through the hotel. I was given a free lunch for the misunderstanding. The booklet has not much information so ask lots of questions.

I arrived late at night and only stayed about 10 hours, as I had another hotel booked for the next day to meet up with friends. So, I can't really comment on the bathroom and such since I didn't use them. The hostel floor itself is nicely renovated and clean, but the building is old, and the room had a slightly stuffy smell. However, the guy at the front desk was kind, and the breakfast was really delicious, so the value for money was definitely good.

Excellent! Breakfast is provided, and the housekeepers all speak Arabic and English, which makes communication very convenient. The breakfast is delicious 😋 and really great. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit. Plus, they clean very thoroughly.

The hostel is a welcome respite from the chaos of Cairo. Note that there are two floors, 1 and 4, but are connected by a vintage elevator as well as a stairwell. Breakfast provided each day was sincerely appreciated and delicious, made fresh for each person. The beds are comfortable and equipped with a small light and a power outlet to charge your devices. There is a common area to hang out with others and meet people. Some of the fittings are broken in the bathrooms but you will get by fine.

Good service. Well behaved staff and take care of their guests.

Stay calm , clean and safe in the heart of cairo city in one of the most lovely calm hostels in cairo with average budget . Friendly staff , clean room , AC , tv screen , private bathroom with no noise from outside .

Really easy to make friends

Neighbouring mosque wakes the neighbourhood with call to prayer every 5:30 am...

The free drinks were excellent, and the hostel as a whole felt very clean. I would definitely like to stay here again when I return to Cairo.
