Talayot - Adults Only

Apart from the food, which isn’t bad but could Improve, this hotel is perfect. Every staff member would literally bend over backwards for you and they’re so polite. It’s the perfect spot between Cala Millor and Cala Bona, with wonderful walks both north and south. Highly recommend the Syrtaki Greek restaurant 5 mins away to accommodate for the food but apart from that downfall the hotel and staff are amazing and I can’t wait to come visit again. Also, the views from the first floor pool/lounge area are amazing!

We are here now the hotel is in a fantastic location and spotlessly clean The spa is amazing we had a couples massage, wrap and body scrub it was fantastic Aida and Andrea were fabulous We are B & B breakfast was plentiful and great choices Restaurants start within 1 minute of the hotel There is a bus stop 10 minutes walk away which takes you to Porto Cristo and Cala rejada the lovely people on reception can give you a timetable and tell you where the nearest bus stop is .

Where do I start…. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is more or less clean however, the rooms are not deep cleaned at all. We had stains on our bed sheets and the towels had stains after we asked to change them. The food is very bland and not the traditional Spanish food you’d get, something needs to be changed. There’s no labels for foods so you never know what you’re eating. All inclusive doesn’t exist here, the cocktails are not included you have to pay extra for nearly everything. You also have to pay extra to use the spa. It is true what the other reviews say wish we didn’t book this hotel. There are nice restaurants around the area so you won’t be disappointed, I’d only recommend this for Bed & breakfast. None of the staff speak English (not even the basic how are you? Or how’s the food), the bar staff are very nice. The pools are cold, hopefully they heat up soon. The pool area on first floor only gets opened at 9:30 when we were here so if it’s still the same be prepared as they get taken quickly. Hope this helps anyone looking to book

They did a nice job of renovating this hotel from the family run one it used to be. However, unless you're very open minded with your travelling companions you might want to think twice about the open plan bathrooms. I don't want my partner/friends to observe me taking my ablutions. Much prefer a separate, private bathroom. For this reason alone I would not stay again.

Very enjoyable stay, small friendly hotel, good food, good clean rooms and excellent staff. Gabriel what a joy behind the bar, no matter how busy he was, always the best 🥂 Had a great surprise on my birthday with no hints, a nice bottle of Cava waiting on my return to my room after a hard day's sunbathing 😎 Nice touch!!

The location of the hotel is superb, it is right in the middle between Calla Millor and Cala Bona so a nice short walk either way. There was no entertainment at this hotel, although I believe it does have later in the season, while we missed having something in the evenings, I guess there is a need for quieter hotels, unusually enough there a cold snap when we were there, so going out wasn't always pleasent, thats where it would have been nice to have more than just piped music in the main bar, you will be given a room card on arrival, this is also what gets you your all inclusive drinks etc, snacks during the day were very poor, sokfast, me pastries, donuts left from breakfast, crisps were were available, but everything is charged to the card! The hotel was generally very clean, the rooms were light and modern, and the beds the most comfortable ones I have every encountered in 30+ years of going to Spain. Shame they don't utilise the power of the sun to heat the 2 pools, they were freezing! and nobody used them, it seems such a waste of time having them there. Not sure I would go back to this hotel, but really it is not because there is anything wrong with it, but just not for us.

My husband and I have just returned from a 5 night stay here and had a fabulous time. Some of the reviews here had us worried but our experience was very positive so please give the hotel a chance. Staff - everyone we encountered was very friendly and extremely hard-working. Reception, restaurant, bar and cleaning staff all made us feel very welcome. Room - we stayed in room 316 which was a frontal sea view room. Very spacious, massive comfy bed and amazing rainwater shower. The safe costs €4 per day and is easy to use. The fridge in room is more a cool-ish storage style but was fine for us. Air con was lovely and lots of wardrobe/drawer space. Only thing I would say is there is a bit of residual noise from the cleaning supply cupboard/office being outside in the hall so if you fancy a lie-in pack some earplugs! Cleanliness - cleaners work very hard. We used the do not disturb sign and they actually put a slip through to explain the room wasn't serviced because of this but you can phone reception before 6pm to have it done if you really need it! They also offer a 'make bed only' service which is useful. Food/drinks - we were All Inclusive and yes, the drinks package includes wine/beer/water/hot drinks/soft drinks however, cocktails and spirits etc are available for a supplement if you wish. Breakfast/lunch/dinner is buffet style and we found it to be varied and tasty. Breakfast offered cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt plus cooked breakfast foods and pastries. Hams/cheeses/breads also available. Lunch and dinner offered salad bar plus a range of hot foods including pizza, pasta, chips, stews, paella, burgers etc on different days/nights. Plus a lovely selection of small cakes. As other reviews have mentioned, yes they do use leftovers (supplemented with a few other dishes) for lunch each day, however, this means less food waste which is a plus point for me. Pool areas - the infinity pool and bali beds face the front of the hotel and are accessed via the chill out bar. We did not use either but there were enough beds available each day if we had chosen to. The pool area at back of hotel is bigger and less crowded. Both well-maintained. Chill-out bar/entertainment - level 1. Lovely seating arrangements and laid-back feel. Entertainment only on a few nights- it is towards end of season so I assume there is more during summer. Both singers we managed to see were talented! Location - perfect location. Very central, lovely stroll along promenade to Cala Bona. Easy access to beach areas, lots of shops and restaurants. Lovely and peaceful balanced with a nice night vibe. Our check-in process was great with information clearly explained and there is a QR code in rooms to scan to take you to the website. Perhaps this information could also be written down/available in rooms too on a small card as an easy reminder of key details? Other info - spa available for additional cost. We had 2 weeks all inclusive at the hotel and had a lovely time. It’s a very central location from where you can easily walk along the promenade to Cala Millor and Cala Bona. The food was very good, and we found plenty of choice and not too repetitive. One thing I would suggest to the staff is that the vegetarian options are clearly labelled, as it was sometimes hard to work out whether some of the dishes contained meat or fish. The staff were all really attentive and friendly. Special mention to Carmen for attempting to teach my husband some Spanish and Gabriel who looked after us at the bar. We found the all inclusive drinks choice fine for us, but there is a small supplement for cocktails which we didn’t have. It would also help to have a free safe but other than that, no complaints.
