1. There are disgusting STAINS on EVERYTHING. Pee stains on the mattress, stains on the sheets, on the towels. Their linens are absolutely revolting. Even when they changed the linnen, the new linnen had MORE stains 2. Their partner restaurant Picco, gave me FOOD POISONING for four full days 3. The Wifi does not work in the room, only in the bedroom 4. Getting a single cup of coffee takes over 20 minutes in the morning. There is ONE person doing coffee, and the lineup is regularly 12+ people 5.Getting a drink at the bar, or getting a breakfast ommelete also takes forever as there’s only ONE person for the whole resort. Usually the same with the front reception as well. They are outrageously understaffed. It’s clear they are trying to cut costs. 6. It is unbearably noisy and crowded. Not only are kids screaming 24/7, but there is a different song playing and overlapping from each area of the resort. All the songs and kids screaming blend together to create one big mush of noise 7. Getting laundry done took FIVE DAYS. 8. The massage and spa booking system is a giant hassle and generally never available. 9. Breakfast is completely substandard and not good at all. Cereal choice is embarrassing, eggs are runny, and the bacon is totally soft, not cooked at all. 10) They sent me two feedback forms to fill in while I stayed there, I filled them both in, and didnt get a reply back on either. 11) Many times, they didnt even use sheets that fit, or put any covers on the pillows. Considering all the stains on everything, that stayed uncovered, this place is disgusting. Overall, top 3 worst hotels i’ve stayed at in my life

A short break just before the summer season. Hotel has just recently been reopened and was immaculate. Staff were excellent. Facilities were great. Great gym, indoor pool and spa for the cooler days and many eating options. The team have clearly worked very hard to get the hotel opened (day before we arrived) and they are clearly proud of their hotel and their achievements. Well done to you all

Nice comfortable and clean hotel. Good amenities ideal for families. Unfortunately our experience was ruined by staff at breakfast on our 2nd morning. Having a small child can sometimes mean you'll be a little late. We arrived for breakfast at 10.10. When you have breakfast with a small child you usually prioritise them, make sure they have what they need. By the time my daughter had tended to her 2 year old and was able to relax to enjoy her own meal I went to get her coffee. It was 10.32. Coffee was refused. Staff said it finished at 10.30. This was extremely poor service at a time when the hotel is not busy. We won't be coming back.

We had a great stay here for a week in July, me and my daughters, 22 and 24 year old. This was our 3rd stay at this hotel. The location of this hotel is excellent, very close to several beaches, 2 minutes to Cala Gran, our favorite. The hotel is very clean, apartments are lovely, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The garden and the pools are really lovely. The hotel grounds are very well kept. We loved the bar at the pool very much, the bar service was great. We booked half board, the food was perfect. All the staff in the hotel were very kind and helpful. Very nice people. The director, Francisco is super friendly, very very kind. We celebrated my daughter's birthday in the hotel, I ordered a birthday cake. It was delicious and beautiful, the decoration and the birthday service were fantastic, the staff were singing happy birthday to my daughter, they were really amazing. We enjoyed every minute of our time at this lovely hotel and I hope, we can return one day and meet again the wonderful people here. Thank you for our beautiful holiday!

We came here at the very beginning of the school holidays- last week of July 2023 and the first week of August. We had booked a two bedroom suite room for myself, my husband and granddaughter(age 10) and two standard apartment for one of my daughter (19) and her boyfriend and the other apartment was for my 17 year old daughter and her friend. Our two bedroom suite was located right above the burger van near the pool and the view looked down on to the table and chairs next to it. The smell of the food was just too much and the loud noise from other guest dining so we moved and down graded to a standard room near reception as they did not have another apartment to give us. We booked on a bed and breakfast basis. The hotel was absolutely heaving during the day by the pool. It felt cramped and there was not enough shade for everybody, All sunbeds were taken by 6am if not earlier. We resorted to going to the beach everyday and even then we had to be there with towels before 7.30am as after that you could get no sunbeds there either. We have been to Cala Dor many times over the last two decades and in the Summer of 2023 the town was jam packed. You had to make dinner reservations in local restaurants as the popular restaurants were turning guests away. At breakfast there were really long queues for hot drinks. It was quite difficult to get a table for our large party and we often had to wait. The food at breakfast was nice enough but after two weeks it felt a chore to go. We went out very evening so did not have an evening meal there but the buffet did look nice. This hotel is really for families with young children as they have a really good animation team that you could see interacted well with the little ones. The hotel reception staff were nice and polite. Housekeeping was hit and miss. I would not return here as it just was not suitable for my family and we have chosen to rent a villa in 2024 just up the road. The location is good for the beach and the walk into town and back is either uphill or downhill.

What a wonderful hotel and it’s in such a great location. Close to the main shopping area with restaurants & bars & across the road from Cala Gran (with a short, yet scenic walk to Cala Esmeralda). I would def stay in this hotel again & highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cala d’or

Really loved our stay here. Apartments were cleaned daily. Bed was amazingly comfortable. We had one of the 'L' shaped sofa beds and it was really comfy too. Although we were self catering, there weren't really the facilities in the room to do much cooking. Also there was no cupboard space to store anything that you bought. Another issue was the sunbed situation. If you wanted one with a parasol you had to be down very early. Of course this meant lots of reserved sunbeds that sat unused for most of the day. It was only in our last couple of days that we noticed the lifeguards putting warning stickers on some of these and removing the towels after they had been unoccupied for 30 mins. The entertainment team were amazing. They worked so hard. However, the daily long water polo matches followed by aquamat meant there were long periods of time during the afternoon that the pool wasn't really usable. The food at the cafe and the food truck was really lovely and reasonably priced. I would stay again just for the club sandwich! Really central location too. 2 mins to Cala Gran beach and 10 mins to the main restaurant area. Walking in the other direction there is another area with a good selection of restaurants and shops and amusements for children. Cala d'Or is a lovely town. Very family orientated with lots of beautiful restaurants. I will definitely stay at Prinsotel Alba on my next visit.

We booked a suite so the children had their own room. We loved the hotel, Bedrooms and Food. The gardens are kept to a very high standard and the pool is cleaned each morning. Perfect location to the beach ( 3 minute walk). We would go back for sure.
