Lago Resort Menorca Casas del Lago

First time in Minorca, so first time at the Lago resort : What is there not to like ? From the delicious and varied breakfast buffet that can satisfy even the most picky taste (+ vegetarians ) to the cleanliness and very comfy rooms with all the equipment you can wish for. Add to that, a nice big pool with very comfy sunbeds and excellent service from a friendly staff. To be mentioned the possibility to charge your electric vehicles, park and repair your bike AND last but not least: The delicious Thai and Peruvian restaurant that we tried as well as the nice chill out bar restaurant at the lighthouse with amazing views - We recommend without hesitation!

This is a nice complex (not really an hotel) with comfortable rooms. Food isn't great. Staff very friendly. Pool nice if a little small, but omg don't expect a relaxing day. The resident DJ pumped music far too loud all afternoon. Definitely not what we expected when booking. When we arrived there was lovely background music. Sadly replaced the next day by noise!

Absolutely stunning hotel. So modern and spotless. All of the staff are so friendly, helpful & professional. We stayed bed& breakfast, but also had food from the Thai Restaurant fantastic flavours. We hired a double sunbed lounger a couple of times, so comfortable would recommend. They do have free sun loungers they get taken up quite early, but people are definitely not allowed to put towels and disappear for hours, they do keep check of this. The location is fantastic too, just a short walk to the harbour, with some fab restaurants to dine out.

We stayed in a Marina Chic room in May and had a fab time. The room was lovely with plenty of space. It was cleaned every day. The view over the marina was great and we had a private terrace with sunbeds and table and chairs. The location is excellent, so close to the beach. The staff were out of this world and could not do enough for us. Alberto on reception was really informative and the dining room and outside staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. The pool was lovely and the sunbeds very comfortable. We were half board and had more than enough to eat especially fresh fruit and salad. There was plenty of choice and they tried to accommodate one of our party who is vegan. I would not hesitate to go there again.

The minute you walk in you are hit by a beautiful scent and warm, friendly staff. They remembered us from last year and made us so welcome. The whole resort is clean and well maintained and the rooms are lovely. Especially the really comfy bed. We will definitely be returning again next year!

We arrived for a our second visit after vowing to return, having such a relaxing and memorable break away with friends last year. We were delighted to be welcomed back with many familiar faces ready to greet us, the fresh clean smell along with the extremely well presented interior reminded us of what we have missed. Many of the staff have such personable characteristics that make you feel valued and special, even remembering us as if it was only yesterday we first went. Upon arrival our rooms were ready for us ahead of the normal 3pm (arrived12:30) we were staying in the chic rooms which are clean, spacious and provided with towels for your entire stay (pool area too) and shower gels and moisturisers. The pool is a very relaxing area which overlooks the marina, you have the choice to pay for some beds or take advantage of the free to use ones on the imitation beach, it makes for a very chilled out whichever you choose with music playing at a perfectly suited volume. You can order food and drinks to your place of relaxation as it is well staffed. On returning to our room on one of our days we were greeted with a personal note of appreciation on returning, along with the note was delightful fruit platter and a bottle of wine. This time round we only stayed on a bed and breakfast basis as we wanted to sample the restaurants around the marina, the breakfast have a wide range of choices, all of which were delicious. The evening meals were also very good from the previous stay with a fair few option every night. I would highly recommend staying here, really suited to couples and groups of all ages that are looking for a relaxing time, it's not the resort for you if you are looking for an extensive night life. The sandy beach is a stones throw from the hotel and have sun loungers to hire (€18 for 2 loungers and parasol)

This hotel is perfect for couples looking for a relaxing break away. (Adults only) Very clean hotel, with amazing helpful staff. This is our second visit, and won’t be the last. Situated in a lovely marina, which ideal for couples aged 25 and above, due to the relaxing setting.
