Valentin Star Menorca - Adults Only

What a fantastic hotel this is . We have had many holidays throughout the year , but this was the best ever. Everything was perfect . The hotel is so clean , the rooms perfect spacious with very comfy beds . The shower was fantastic. Our room was a pool view room and we loved it . We only stayed bed and breakfast. The choice and quality was perfect . The location is perfect we loved the marina . I could go on and on about our holiday . We have come home feeling very relaxed and rested and we will definitely return. Finely a big thank you to all the staff who are polite pleasant and professional.

We had a great holiday at this hotel and it’s the best Tui holiday we’ve been on. The hotel is immaculately clean and maintained to a very high standard plus the rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and have aircon. The pool is lovely, there are plenty of sun-loungers and there’s a cafe bar serving meals and snacks throughout the day plus waiters deliver drinks direct to your sun-lounger. We enjoyed watching the daily water volleyball, aqua-aerobics and surfboard lessons plus there are regular archery, yoga and dance classes. The entertainment team are really enthusiastic and fun but nobody was ever pressured to join in. A real highlight of the holiday was the staff who were all so friendly and professional, especially Nerea in the restaurant. The standard of food was high - we stayed for breakfast and dinner and there was always lots of choice (from Menorcan specialities to those who like their roast beef) - you could see the chefs take great pride in ensuring everything was hot, tasty and well-stocked. The evening entertainment was of a very high standard and took place outdoors on the terrace with a good selection of bands (we particularly enjoyed the ABBA night as well as the soul, opera, jazz and boyband nights) and a special shout-out to Manuel, the bar manager, who delivered impeccable service taking drinks orders. The hotel’s located right on Cala’n Bosch marina close to some excellent restaurants, souvenir shops, several supermarkets and boat hire companies plus there are plenty of places to walk, jog and you can also hire bikes. (Note: if you want to visit the beach it’s €18 per day to hire two sun-loungers). This hotel ticked all of our boxes and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

Our first visit to this hotel did not disappoint. Friendly helpful and professional staff are one its greatest assets. We liked the fact that it’s not massive hotel so dining room is not like a canteen. Beautiful pool area with a lovely bar/lunch restaurant nearby, the food was excellent. Day time activities available led by brilliant staff, Lydia was a star, I enjoyed the aqua gym which was great fun. It’s close to beautiful marina with lots of restaurants if you want to eat out and also some shops. Our bedroom was very spacious we were allocated room 120 because we needed a shower without bath, but although it had a large terrace it wasn’t very private as the gate was used for laundry deliveries and the bottle bank was next door so could be noisy! We would return to this hotel and book a poolside room in the future.

This is our second time at the Hotel and our stay was as good as the first. The location is excellent, a few steps from the Harbour, and a few minutes from the Beach. The staff are lovely and the food is amazing, we were half board. Everything is close by, shops, restaurants, car hire, bus routes etc. We will definitely return next year.

This is our third visit to this hotel and we will definitely be returning. All of the staff are absolutely amazing and nothing is ever too much trouble. We really enjoy the food (half board) and daytime and evening entertainment further enhance what this hotel has to offer.

As a returning guest of this excellant hotel, i decided to select a pillow from the Pillow Menu. The best night's sllep i have had in years. Some subtle changes to the hotel this year, which makes the stay more enjoyable. Staff are wonderfull as always and is a delight to see them

i have stayed in many hotels all over the world.this one was right up there with the best. the choice of food was excellent along with the quality. rooms were spacious beds very comfortable and very clean. all staff were kind polite and very helpful. great entertainment especially the micheal jackson tribute. all in all it was first class. would definately reccomend. adults only as well. perfect

We last went in 2019 and gave it a deserved 5 star review and hoped it hadn't changed. It hadn't. You need to ignore the people who complain that it is dated. That is what gives it character. It is perfectly maintained and very clean. We had a very small hitch with the lights when we arrived and an engineer had it fixed within minutes. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and everything works in the bathroom. The cleaning staff were brilliant; so nice and friendly. Through the day there was some good fun with archery, shuffleboard, darts and the cocktail game. Given that it was an adult only hotel I was a little conscious that the teams made up mainly of more mature gentlemen ( with one young lady) were too noisy but lots of guest commented that it was a good spectator sport. In then evening we had a quiz, guitarists and tribute acts who were very good. The bar staff were so attentive, always ready to help and we really enjoyed the nibbles they brought round. Nothing was too much trouble for them and there were a few good laughs. The food was nothing short of brilliant with a huge selection, so much so that I had to stop myself from eating everything. The only downside was when I heard a couple telling their rep that standards had fallen and that there hadn't been any caviar! Leaving the best until last what really makes a hotel holiday is the staff. It would be unfair to single out any of them but they know who they are. So well dressed, so polite, so helpful. They were awesome. I felt a bit sorry when some fellow guests couldn't be bothered to even look up when their plates were being cleared. I don't speak Spanish but please, thank you, good morning or just a smile are so easy. I was sad to leave and will certainly be back

Absolutely a lovely hotel , high standards of service and very good choice of food, we were half board, but often stayed for lunch . Excellent location buses every half hour to Cuitedella, just make sure u get on at the pharmacy as they are popular. Regular entertainment of an evening , various groups and individuals. We will return.
