Will be back every year. Recommended both for families and business with huge conference room. The best period is end of July 3 august, during the Music Festival of Carloforte when top artists join and play almost every night. Our experience was really awesome and will recommend it to all our friends.

We are an adult couple staying here now & find it charming with character. Shower is excellent with great water pressure, comfortable bed, wifi & AC work very well, very clean room & property, breakfast served in the garden & excellent location on the waterfront. If we were to return to Carloforte we would definitely stay here again & we would recommend it. You can walk to restaurants, ferry, shops, marinas.

Hotel enjoys a great location, just facing the port of Carloforte. Hotel is supposed to be 4 star, but unfortunately does not feel 4 star at all. A room with window overlooking the port costs 200 euro a night, the view is the best thing… Room is quite small and appointed a bit cheaply, curtains, bed spread, bathroom, wardrobe, all look a bit “budget”, no attention to detail and quality of the materials used around. The bathroom had a shower, but this wasn’t fully enclosed, at every shower there was a lot of water on the floor. Hotel has, what it could be, a nice back garden, but this is not looked after, only some tired garden and bar furniture, no attention to detail and no care, no beauty. Breakfast was ok for me but definitely not ok for foreign guests or for guests who do not eat “sweet” in the morning. Cakes (but industrially made) croissants, more cakes and little sweet tarts, no ham, no cheese, no proper bread (except some slices of local pizza/focaccia) no possibility to have an omelette or scrumbled eggs or anything like that, very disappointing for a 4 star… Staff were all nice, friendly and professional. The hotel needs a bit of extra love (and money) put into it, it could be absolutely lovely but right now it feels more like a pretty average 3 star with 4 star deluxe prices. Such a shame, it could be so nice…

Sono ritornato dopo alcuni anni in questo albergo e ne sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito. La nuova proprietaria ha compiuto una sapiente ristrutturazione E' un edificio in stile liberty di rara eleganza e raffinatezza. Nella sua lunga storia ha ospitato nobili famiglie, ambasciate e consolati prima di essere convertito in hotel nel 1980. Oggi è un albergo a 4 stelle inaugurato dopo la ristrutturazione per esaltare le antiche bellezze del palazzo ed aumentare il confort nell’ospitalità. E' diventato un Hotel di charme, ricco di fascino con una identità forte che rifiuta la standardizzazione tipica delle catene alberghiere. Qui ogni dettaglio è curato al massimo con classe, stile e comfort. Gli arredi sono d’epoca, in stile liberty, collezionati dall’appassionata proprietaria Donatella Ferraro ed ogni accessorio è studiato nei minimi particolari perchè il turista possa godere di un ambiente raffinato ed esclusivo. Ed il prezzo, almeno fuori stagione, non è eccessivo per un 4 stelle.

Ho partecipato al gruppo di bikers al quale si riferisce la sig.ra Stefania Maffei nella sua recensione negativa del 6.10.23 rispetto al personale dell'Hotel Hieracon di Carloforte. MI SONO VERGOGNATA del comportamento della sig.ra Maffei (E NON SONO STATA LA SOLA): maleducata, irrispettosa ed agressiva in modo reiterato, sia il pomeriggio del nostro arrivo, che il giorno della nostra partenza, nonostante il ns soggiorno presso l'hotel sia stato ottimale da tutti i punti di vista: gentilezza, professionalità, pulizia in un antico splendido edificio. Il personale dell'hotel (senza reagire e mantenendo la calma, nonostante il modo screanzato, volgare e prepotente della responsabile del ns gruppo) ha saputo risolvere in tempi brevi al ns arrivo, il problema di dove ricoverare in sicurezza le ns 17 biciclette.

Sono stata a settembre 2023 con un gruppo di bikers e ho apprezzato la gentilezza e la disponibilità degli impiegati in particolare in occasione di un episodio spiacevole che ha visto la nostra capogruppo maltrattarli senza alcuna reale giustificazione. Mi sono vergognata molto e dispiaciuta per quanto accaduto. L'hotel è un edificio antico ed elegante con tutti comfort del caso. Emanuela Procoli

L'hotel si trova sul lungomare a 200 m circa allo sbarco del traghetto. Il parcheggio sulla strada è a pagamento. Abbiamo pagato 8 euro dalla sera fino alla mattina dopo. L'ascensore non funziona per le persone ma solo per i bagagli. L'aria condizionata ok ma tutta la notte in camera si sentiva un fastidioso ronzio proveniente dal contatore della luce. Carino il giardino su cui si affaccia la camera. Colazione discreta.

Siamo stati in questo hotel una solanotte( per fortuna) al Costo di 120€ a notte per una matrimoniale… La camera era la 14… 2 letti singoli uniti, sembrava piu un alloggio di emergenza creato in un sottoscala… Da un 4 stelle Ci si aspetta decisamente di piu.
