Beds are hard. Breakfast line was long and good was not good. Water wouldn’t go down the tub. Vendor machine didn’t work with no refund by hotel. They said it was an outside vendor. They should have a out of order sign on the machine. I definitely would not stay here

Absolutely the worst, and I mean the worst, hotel we have ever stayed in in all the years of travel. Where to begin? Check in was a joke. Man at the desk was rude, abrupt and frankly more interested in anything else but his guests. Very vulgar and shady looking. Checked into a room on the main floor. It stunk. A/C not working. There was standing water in the bathtub. Dirty. Asked to change rooms and the rude guy from the front desk said there were no other rooms available in the entire hotel! He said he would send the maintenance guy to look at our room because obviously a tourist doesn't know what they are talking about. The maintenance guy showed up . He looked at the tub and tried to drain the water and couldn't until he pulled out a knife to pry the plug out. He told us "just don't have a bath"! As for the a/c not working, a few bangs of the unit got it going for about thirty seconds. Then it quit, so opening the window was the solution to that. The filter was plugged with grim, but I am sure that wasn't the only problem here. Asked for the Manager. He finally did appear in the room and was astonished with the state of the room. The Manager then had to argue with the front desk rude guy and the young maintenance worker in front of us for a while. Soon the Manager got us a new room on a higher floor with was clean and everything working. Now for the dinner. Limited, poor food and rude staff. Is everyone here unhappy? At breakfast I made the mistake of sitting at an unoccupied table that was suppose to be for someone else and the serving staff told me to move. Not politely, but MOVE NOW. I said I would finish my bowl of cereal and leave and she stood there at said NO. MOVE NOW. Needless to say, our day didn't start well. Don't even drive by this place. Not worth your time.

We spent a week at Hotel Miro', gathering our family from Abu Dhabi, Yorkshire and Cyprus in order to scout wedding locations around Tuscany. The hotel is strategically placed near the highway and at a 5 min walk from the railway station (20 min from downtown Florence). A wide, free and guarded, hotel parking is available for travelers. The great staff courtesy was undoubtedly very much appreciated both at the reception and at the breakfast room (Mr Giovanni served our daily unforgettable cappuccinos with the smile and aplomb of a skilled butler!). Rooms are spacious, even for the ones used to "Dubai standards", clean, quiet and well kept. A/C worked properly without noise and the free Wi-Fi did its job as expected. Vending machines and a good pool table are in the hall. We didn't try all facilities being busy around; hence we missed the gym. Minor issues have been always fixed promptly by the careful staff and their amazing manager, a profound connoisseur of Tuscan culture, habits and, of course, food! Any advice and suggestion? Just ask Mr Dini! I strongly recommend Hotel Miro' to anyone willing to visit Florence and its surroundings in full relax in a high value-for-money retreat.

We stayed here for a night. The TV was not working. I reported it to the receptionist but nothing was done about it. The lady at receptionist did not smile or great us…very rude service…the hotel wi-fi was not working…we reported this to the receptionist also but she did nothing about it. The carpets in the corridors are stained and disgusting….the fixtures in the bathroom are really old and the bath shower was faulty…I do not recommend this hotel. The hotel also does not have a bar that works!

This is the second hotel we stayed in Italy during our trip and we stayed here for one night. The lobby of the hotel was nice and bright and our room was on the second floor was spacious and cosy. The room was clean and neat, bed was comfortable and we had a good rest indeed. But there was only one staff on duty (I will talk about it later in detailed). The room has a kettle and tea bags, good gesture as several hotels in Italy/Europe do not do so, not even the one we stayed the day before. And the good thing is that the room has aircon but the aircon is not operating long enough before it auto turned off. We kept turning on after it auto shut off and until the next day, we realized that it was central controlled. (in the daytime, the aircon will stay on until the user turn off but in the night, the control is not in the hands of the user!) The TV has quite a good collection of channels but without a guide/listing, we had to spend a lot of time to search for the channels we want one by one, going through from one to hundreds! Then the bathroom. It's space and had a bathtub but it had problems in draining. After my spouse used it, the water could not drain and we tried our best to no avail. So we called the reception for help. Remember I mentioned earlier, there was only one staff on duty? Calling the line several times before it got answered, and the staff told us he would come over to check and rectify the problem but it took him more than 20 mins to come. And when he came, he brought a spaner and big screwdriver and poke in the hole and shortly after the water started to drain off. Then we realized that we were not the only one that had this problem, the rooms next to us and opposite us had the same problem (they were our tourmates) and that explained why it took him so long to come to our room to check! What a drama! As for the breakfast, unfortunately, it had a pathetic and small spread and not a 4-star hotel would provide. Some of the bread as seen in the pictures were "burnt with charred". The staff were also very impolite and did not allow us to go in 5mins earlier or stand at the entrance although there wasn't anyone. There were only 2 staffs and many tables were not cleared. Although the stay here was generally satisfactory, I do not feel the hotel deserved a 4-star rating and more relevant as 3-star, considering the poor service, lack of staff and defects in the room.

I loved the rooms . They were really clean and the service was excellent too. However the breakfast was a bit tasteless i loved the design of the whole hotel. I definitely recommend this to other people :)

it is about a 30-minute drive from Florence where we stayed 1 night. Rooms at the Hotel Miro' are air conditioned in a simple modern style. Equipped with free WiFi access, a minibar, and satellite TV. Some free toiletries but no toothpaste and brush. Noted that the Bathroom does not have close shower doors, need careful else the water spills all over the bathroom floor. No hand held shower just a rain shower We were rather late for dinner, reaching after 6pm. But have to wait close to another hour before being served. And the appertiser (pasta) and entrée (chicken meat) were served 30 mins apart, with some of us actually left as we were tired. This is rather not acceptable to us. Continental breakfast spread is average but the spared/quantity is good and can accommodate quite a big crowd at its peak. But have to admit the hotel space is rather large and well designed. Rows of trees were planted and when we were there the fallen autumn leaves left a real nice picture! Overall an average stay for us

Nice modern room, very spacious. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. Best little croissants I’ve tasted. Quite a distance from the heart of Milan. Large shopping centre with huge supermarket nearby. Would be happy to stay again if I did not need easy access to Milan city.

This hotel was chosen by our tour organizer, and I would be very unlikely to visit here again. On the second night of our visit, we were told the restaurant was closed without notice. We then watched as a busload of visitors arrived to have the restaurant opened for them. The next morning the restaurant opened for breakfast where 3 busloads of visitors descended on the place, absolute mayhem.
