Bungalows Castillo Beach Reviews

Just back from another week in castillo beach. All very good for a cheap week away. The staff were very accommodating and the bungalow was clean. Only issue we had was there was no air con but we hired a fan and it helped. We did have to ask for towels but that was fine. We are back later in the year!

been here 4 times of again 28th april with daughter,clean and tidy and for guaranteed weather cheap and good place to stop,bit of a hill to come back but well worth it,nice quiet area and great beaches nearby,10 minutes to bus stop to visit other areas

It is a very quiet place, to disconnect, with a kitchen, we did not try the hotel food

Very good value for money but there is a huge lack of basics (sponge, soap, kitchen utensils, bowls, towel for the bathroom floor, strainer, etc.) The beds are distributed randomly, we had 2 very uncomfortable single beds while double beds are available. The TV (from the 90s) didn't work. We can't complain about the price but you have to go there knowingly.

Bungalows were basic but acceptable for the budget price paid. There are numerous pools but only one has the restaurant and all inclusive bar so that was disappointing. Food was pretty pathetic but thankfully there are a few restaurants very nearby and are reasonably priced.

A lovely stay at Castillo beach, mon complex. The bungalow apartment had everything needed for self catering. Lovely well maintained swimming pool and sunbathing area. Helpful reception staff. All in a short distance 15 minute walk to the main town

I come here all the time manager is very nice and also the staff. very clean inside my accommodation never had any problems. Thanks glenroy carter.also food is OK but you get what you pay for but would rather have excellent customer service. Thanks staff and manger

Up hill and 20 minutes to the beach, no cleaning done in the 7 days we were there, all inclusive food same every day and night. Pools were immaculate, staff were quite rude.Paid £1142 for 1 week all inclusive not worth it. My wife's 60th birthday gift. Should've stayed at home.

Our 5th visit in 18 months and had great time again,always go self catering as we don't go to sit about a pool,room was well equiped and clean as usual,tv had load of english channels..the local bars 10 min walk away are great,€2 a pint of jungle juice in little havana until 6pm every day is great deal for cold 6% beer,it's sun trap all day,british corner good for cold pint and breakfast,el patio and fado rock both great meals at good price(two fillet steaks,pepper sauce,4 beers €40),not much for kids too do in this area,but a very relaxing couples break at very reasonable price,can't wait to get back in August for 2 weeks and week in november

Really enjoyed my stay. I was situated by a pool and it was quiet and peaceful, within walking distance of amenities.

This was a budget holiday and we were perfectly happy with the accommodation and the staff we had contact with. However, you can't choose your neighbours and there were some very noisy and drunken people. One family were throwing and breaking furniture, fighting each other and shouting and swearing most of the time. We both felt ashamed to be English. There was excessive noise day and night. It was unpleasant as adults, we certainly wouldn't want to bring children here.

We booked a cheap long weekend away and it ticked the boxes! Please ignore the bad reviews you get what you pay for! we will return - room spotless clean, pools clean & nice staff. Food standard but what do you expect, good selection of drinks available at the bar!

Oh my god what an absolute filthy hole. We arrived Saturday night and the bungalow was filthy it had bugs all over the walls ceiling like that fittings and in the bedding. The shower and toilet were filthy and chipped. The whole place was filthy the settee was ripped and had an old sheet thrown over, this too had bugs crawling out of it. We complained and we had paid extra for a superior bungalow … no such thing existed. The pool was a health hazard and tiles were missing therefore you would cut your feet. The food was disgusting, I wouldn’t serve it to my dogs. Loveholidays didn’t help … we checked out the next morning, full of bed bug bites. We have lost our £1200 and have had to pay again for different accommodation in town. These bungalows need demolishing
