Never again. Old, and very dirty. I had to go to reception and get them to clean and fumigate the room. I was offered another room but refused for personal reasons. I never slept in the bed as cockroaches were coming out from the wardrobe, I sat up most nights dozing on the sofa.Not once did I cook in the self catering bungalow due to the greasy dirty kitchen area . The bathroom was equally dirty and crawling with ants. I tried to book another hotel/apartment in the surrounding area but there was little availability due to some places closed or people being moved due to roadworks

Great place for a cheap break. The bungalow was clean and we had enough equipment to eat breakfast each day on the patio in the sun. Lovely big pool and super quiet location. All of the bars and restaurants are nearby as is the beach. We would come back again.

Visited for a week in November, bungalows are spacious. The kitchen area has a two ring hob, microwave and fridge freezer plus frying pan and one saucepan, along with cutlery, crockery and glasses. It would benefit from a toaster. There is a separate bedroom with twin beds, that were comfy and extra blankets if needed in the wardrobe, a safe which you cost €10 for the week with €5 on key return. The bathroom has an shower over the bath which was adequate. Includes a hairdryer. The living area has a futon that can be pulled out to use as an extra bed. A small terrace at the front which has a small table and chairs and one sunbed. At the rear there was line to dry clothes. There us no air con but you can hire a fan for €20 refundable deposit. Towels are supplied and change twice during our stay. The rooms would benefit from a lick of paint and our bungalow 355 had mismatched kitchen cupboards. The pool area is adequate with sunbeds that need a revamp. There is also an area above reception with sunbeds. We only used the on site bar once and had a pizza which was only €6. There are drinks and snack machines near reception and are reasonably priced. We only paid €400 for two people for a week, so the priced accordingly.

Nice apartments, great location, clean pool, friendly staff. Some of the reviews had me worried but rest assured this place is fine. It is 2 star and a bit tired but I had no problem with that. It was clean, staff were very good. On arrival I discovered we had no toilet seat. This was fixed within 5 minutes of reporting it to reception. I would stay here again if I return to Caleta. Easy short walk to shops and bars/restraunts.

Stayed for a week in early November on a last minute B&B booking via LoveHolidays. As the title says, it was a budget deal and the accommodation really didn't live up to anything more than that. The bungalow consisted of one open plan kitchen/dining area with separate bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen area was tired and dated with mismatched doors (obviously re-cycled from other rooms given the screw holes for handles). The bedroom had fitted wardrobes two of which couldn't be opened, and two single beds with the squeakiest bedframes known to mankind and pillows the thickness of tissue paper. The bathroom was functional with shower over the bath, but came complete with plenty of mould on the shower curtain and bath grouting. Small patio area outside had a sun bed and patio chairs provided, however the kitchen chairs were more comfortable to use.. Cleaners performed basic cleaning twice during the stay, however quite easy to spot the areas they didn't do. Bar on site but never saw it open, and given previous reviews never tried the breakfast options. Area surrounding the hotel is being heavily refurbished, so lots of construction and roadworks are also ongoing. Will appeal to some, but has taught us a valuable lesson in that you get what you pay for....

Yes I have given the bungalows 5/5 ! Let me explain why…… Because you get exactly what you pay for! This is very very budget friendly accommodation and frankly for what we paid I think it was spot on! We have stayed here twice previously but have not stayed in the last 9 years. We enjoyed our stays 9 years ago when we were a family of 3. At that time myself and husband had the bedroom and our 3yr old daughter slept in the sofa bed. Our family has changed now and we are a family of 4 with a 9 year old and a teenager. For this reason our children had the bedroom as the beds can be configured as two singles or a double - and we had the sofa bed in the lounge area. The girls were very happy in the bedroom and I can confirm their beds were very comfortable. The sofa bed was passable. My husband and I are not the smallest of people and we did not have the most comfortable nights sleep. But we slept. And if our girls could have shared the sofa bed without fighting that would have been more ideal. The sofa bed is perfectly acceptable for children or one small adult to share. The bungalows have had a very minor bit of an upgrade since our last stay - the sofa beds are actually newer than the old ones that were there and the dining tables/ tv area is all new (used to all be pine). We had no issue with missing kitchen utensils - yes it’s basic but for preparing breakfast and lunch for 4 people we had everything we needed. As stated in the information the accommodation provided - the cleaners will visit 3 x per week . We stayed for 2 weeks and they came as they should and changed towels and bedding. We requested extra pillows from reception and these were brought to us by the cleaning staff as requested. The WiFi is awful and barely worked for us - not an issue as I didn’t realise it was provided and my UK phone network (o2) has free EU Roaming for the little bit of internet that we needed. The location is what draws us to come back here ! It is perfect - a 5 minute walk into the central area where all the shops and restaurants are located. It is “up hill” from town as most things are but it is barely an incline (it gets steeper further up). The market is held immediately outside the bungalows on a Tuesday and Thursday. There are currently roadworks being done all around Caleta including outside the main entrance of the bungalows. This will not impact your stay as they work on them very infrequently and certainly not early morning or late night. A handful of bungalows will unfortunately have a view of this but from what we can tell these ones are permanently occupied by staff living on site or other long term lets of people working locally. The grounds of the bungalows are clean but in need of some maintenance , they appeared to be trying to tackle some of this during our stay. The pool is large and cleaned every morning , some of the sun beds are a little tired but you’ll not have an issue getting one - no need to put the towels out early!
