Calgary Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel

The hotel is located right inside the terminal, making check-in incredibly convenient. Our room faced the airport runway, offering fantastic views of planes taking off and landing. It's perfect for early morning flights.

The location is superb! I stayed there for one night and had a relaxed 10 AM flight the next day without having to rush. My room was on the side that doesn't face the planes. It was very spacious and comfortable. I occasionally heard planes taking off at night, but it wasn't a big issue.

The hotel is conveniently located on the same floor as the departure terminal. The room was quite comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a separate shower. There are fast food options in the airport like Tim Hortons, Japanese food, burgers, and sandwiches, so you can grab breakfast there if it's not included with your stay. A quick complaint about WestJet's check-in speed: we waited in line for 40 minutes and the line barely moved. I had to shamelessly ask some foreigners if I could cut in front of them, otherwise, we would have missed our flight.

The hotel's location is excellent, offering fantastic views of the waterfall. However, the service attitude needs improvement. We had to wait three hours for the room to be cleaned upon check-in, which was incredibly inefficient. Even worse, the front desk staff claimed they didn't know about our high-floor booking and only agreed to give us one after we insisted they reconfirm with Ctrip. It felt very unprofessional.

Staying here, a taxi to downtown was about $35 CAD, which is acceptable. We attended the Calgary Stampede two days in a row and it was very convenient to take an Uber back and forth after eating at restaurants in the city center.

This hotel is convenient for transfers, with spacious and comfortable rooms and quality bedding. Despite being right next to the runway, the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk service is professional and efficient, and the indoor pool and gym facilities are well-maintained, perfect for relaxing after a long flight. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the restaurant consistently delivers good food. For business travelers or families prioritizing efficiency, you'll be hard-pressed to find any faults here. Highly recommended.
