The beds were horribly soft and sunken in and misshapen. My wife felt like she was sleeping in a hammock. We had awful sleeps and came home with sore necks and backs. Very disappointed in the quality of beds considering what we paid and that this was our only holiday this year. The room was incredibly dusty and my sons allergies started acting up. I was charged $1828 for a beer in the club lounge because the attendant there mixed up our room number for the price of the beer. It of course was reversed but we were shocked to see this charge upon check out and don't feel this is acceptable.

The hotel room is too small, the room has been recently renovated, the bed is very comfortable, because the elevator is renovated, the original elevator is old, so the upper and lower floors are relatively slow, understandable. Downstairs, you can take the red line and the blue line. The downtown section is free. This is a good idea to learn. You can reduce the number of private cars and taxis in the city center (no taxis are seen). There is an underground car park, approximately $15 per night.

#positive #I was happy with the Value for Money, Soundproofing, Mosquito Control Measures, Bed Comfort Level, Convenience of Transport, Hotel Smell; Although it is a three-star hotel, it feels very good to live in and includes breakfast. It was also very quiet at night. The bed was a bit hard. The traffic is average, it takes about 10 minutes to go out by car

The hostel is a good base for exploring the local area is right next to a large grocery store, train station and only 10 minutes walk to the saddle dome. We especially loved the little library area upstairs - it was great to have somewhere quiet to chill in the evenings. The free breakfast is great also we really appreciated the tea, coffee, oil & seasonings provided by the hostel. In the rooms there was limited plug sockets meaning that some people had to leave their phones the opposite the room which isn't great for those setting early morning alarms etc. Also in the women showers there was no doors/locks only shower curtains which didn't feel the most secure for privacy.

Did not eat breakfast, but the lunch on the first floor restaurant was ok, the room was large, the double room seemed to allow four people, because the four of us opened two rooms, the front desk started to make a mistake and thought we were one Room, and then gave us four room cards, did not say nothing wrong, and later learned that it is two rooms. There is a small swimming pool on the first floor, and the environment is ok. The double beds in the double room are large, with a balcony, a coffee machine, and hygiene. You can see Calgary Tower when you go out. It takes about five or six minutes to walk.

Really nice stay at the hotel. The room was very clean and tidy, and it was nice to have the kitchenette and fridge available. The furniture, fittings and fixtures are modern, I quite enjoyed it. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. There's a mix of hot and cold foods for a hearty breakfast. The elevators were a bit inconvenient. During morning/evening it was often a 5-10 minute wait for an elevator. Normally I would take the stairs, but not from the 15th floor. Would definitely stay again, great location to walk or drive from.
