The Empyrean Cam Ranh Beach Resort Reviews

We ended up booking this hotel last minute after our original place didn’t work out, and it was quite the experience. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a spectacular view from the balcony. Unfortunately, the wind was really strong, which made it too chilly to enjoy the pool or beach. Breakfast was just okay, but we really struggled during dinner. The hotel has only one restaurant that shares space with other hotels in the complex, which made it feel pretty hectic. We arrived at 7 PM, ordered our food, and then waited about an hour and a half before it started coming out. Many guests were asked to wait in the lobby or come back later because there wasn’t enough room. On the bright side, the food was quite delicious when it finally arrived!

The Hotel was huge and beautiful designs,Service was excellent, swimming was big, breakfast is good but the only thing the bathroom was tidy , separately from the sink & not functioning e all,even no place for store the shower gel & shampoo so you have get out after showering to get change, Don't think will back again.

Housekeeping & In-Room Services Room service left an old blanket on the floor and did not remove it Reception and housekeeping do not answer phone calls, requiring guests to go downstairs for water and room amenities 3. Staff Conduct & Professionalism Staff are impolite and unprofessional Plates are cleared without asking guests Staff refuse to provide their names and remove name badges Reception staff ignored us while serving other guests as we waited for assistance Reception staff appeared to complain about us in Vietnamese in front of us, with colleagues laughing Reception complained to another guest in Vietnamese while we were waiting to resolve a reservation issue 4. Language & Communication Issues Most staff do not speak English Reservations staff struggled to understand English and hung up while we were explaining an issue 5. Front Desk & Guest Service Issues Reception staff refused to lend a pen to a guest, pretending to use it instead No duty manager on shift after 5pm Reservations department is unavailable after 5pm and uncontactable 6. Reservations & Third-Party Booking Support We were unable to obtain the off-shift manager’s name while attempting to resolve a reservation issue with Trip.com Lack of support from the reservations team significantly delayed issue resolution

This hotel is near the airport, very close to the beach, and the beach itself is huge! I really love it. If you're looking for a layover hotel, you should definitely consider this one! The value for money is seriously, seriously good.

Location was okay. Staff was not enough but they were friendly. 1 think I feel uncomfortable was, they take all passports and take a picture with their own phone which is wierd...

Beautiful and safe beach, wonderful staff so friendly wherever we went. The restaurants offered a great variety of foods and prices depending on our budget and tastes. The rooms were wonderful and cleaned every day.

Our family stayed here for 2 days. We love to all the new amenities here and especially the beautiful private beach. Services and staff are good. We definitely come back here for relaxing time.

Overall Services Management is terribly time consuming and inexperience from the moment of making reservation on app to check-in reception at hotel. Hotel management is irresponsive to customers questions required for clarification after several attemps by customers and app's customer service agents. Locations are not clearly stated causing confusion to customers. Wheelchair for elderly is missing one foot-resting pedal which caused discomfort to the elderly in stead of supporting! Overall Staffs are quite inexperient and not appropriately trained. No excuses are acceptable.

Everything was great, except this is a resort with only one restaurant. There is only one restaurant and food at the restaurant was terrible. Two local Vietnamese restaurants within walking distance but service there is no good and food is very local. For a good meal you must get taxi and go to other resorts. Such a shame because everything else is so nice! Staff very friendly and accommodating.

The Empyrean hotel is aligned with the Arena resort hotel. It’s the same building and the same rooms, the same swimming, the same everything. Just like in my previous review of Arena hotel, I will mention a very good and clean condition of the hotel and surround, great beach and sea area as well as swimming pool. The biggest disadvantage is a very remote area with no access to the tours and trips and small shops. Need to do everything inside the hotel, it does have a lot of amenities, just that you need to pay for everything.

This is a great spot to stay for a day if you want to be close to the airport. Got in at midnight and left around nine in the morning, so didn’t experience much. But for the price us was convenient and comfortable.

It is a brand new rather large resort. The room was really good and clean. It seems to be rather kid friendly, with a lot of shallow pools, meandering pool-river as well as a kid zone. The breakfast is not bad, but it does get rather crowded. I guess it will be great in a year or so when all buildings are finished and shopping street fully operational, because it is situated in the middle of nowhere and great for 'all inclusive stay in resort', but much less so if you want to explore around. It is super close to the airport which is why we stayed in it in the first place.
