Thorn House B&B

This accommodation was excellent. for us.It was situated in a tiny village with only one local pub, which was ideal for us. Cambridge is only 10miles away. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The Lodge was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. A nice touch was a plate of fairy cakes and a jar of cookies to welcome you. There was also a jug of milk in the fridge. The bed was sublime. Extremely soft and comfortable. I normally only manage 3-4 hours sleep daily, but on our two night stay i slept right through both nights. Breakfast was a full English delivered to our door, and it was delicious. I can't recommend this place and it's host highly enough. If I'm visiting the area again Thorn House will definitely be my first choice.

Wow fantastic place, would definitely recommend. Alex the owner was fantastic nothing was too much trouble. And lovely home cooked breakfast delivered to your room in the morning. Loved the little buns that were left has a treat. Lovely and clean, lovely little village with a pub that did fantastic meals as well. We will definitely be back.

Loved our stay at Thorn House, our little bungalow was quaint with comfortable furnishings and everything that you might need, the bed was extremely comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. Our hot breakfast of sausage, egg, bacon and toast was delivered to our door each morning and was delicious I only, our host was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble... Can thoroughly recommend and we would definitely stay again

Great stay Host very friendly. Nice and quiet good breakfast and the pub in the local village also does good food.

Not quite as it appears in the photos! Large space but a bit "dusty". Definitely a bit misleading. The host is VERY nice and friendly. Communication was great! The full English breakfast was a lot of food!! The village was cute and the local pub was awesome.
