Riu Cancun - All Inclusive

Awesome hotel. Located in the heart of Cancun. Perfect location with crystal clear white sand beaches. Well-maintained swimming pools with party vibe every day. Delicious buffet food. Helping staff and many more. Must visit place. Thanks Riu for making our trip memorable 🙏.

Rooms were clean, the staff was excellent, and the food was pretty good. The weather didn't do us any favors, and the beach/ocean water was pretty mid but that's not RIU's fault. We enjoyed our stay and will be recommending our friends to go.

Just back from a week all inclusive and this hotel is fab. It caters for all ages (adults only of course) so it can be as lively or quiet as you want. The place is spotless and well maintained. The entertainment team are absolutely brilliant day and night which was the biggest highlight for us. The hotel is not too far from the shopping mall if you want to venture out for a wander about. Restaurants within are great - menus are scaled down but it works. Our room was an Oceanview corner suite on the 12th floor. It was fab and the view was just awesome. My only gripe being on the 12th floor is the lifts are a bit slow. I’d have no hesitations about going back to this hotel

The room was great and the vibe at the property was awesome. Loved the RIU parties as well. The food and drinks were great too.

This resort is ok. It was in definite need of maintenance. The rooms were clean, but everything was heavily worn. I don't mind older furniture, but you could tell some had been abused and many things were just painted over with an attempt to hide the blemishes instead of fixing things. Biggest issue was the cards to the rooms!! We had to have them rekeyed numerous times. They are incredibly sensitive to being near a phone or other magnetized thing. It was daily, sometimes a couple of times a day we had to have the keys reset. very very frustrating. The food was ok. Sadly didn't have a meal that made me want to go back for more, but I never went hungry either! The pools were VERY warm. almost like bath water. That part wasn't very enjoyable. would have liked a map of the premises, as it wasn't until the last day we found the quieter pool to the right side of the resort. Overall it was ok for what we went for ( our 18 year old daughters birthday with her friends) but not something my husband and I would go back to. We are also use to people getting dressed up nicely for dinner and dress codes at dinner and people were in swim and covers, that was also unusual for us. The teenagers liked the club at the resort!

Great resort to stay at. The rooms were clean. We had a great time and plan to visit again!

Overall a great resort. Can use some structural upgrades (elevators for sure!, shower head broken at connection ports so heavy leaking etc), but the staff were amazing, entertainment available for all groups, easy access to sister resorts. Will def be my destination hotel anytime Im in Cancun!
