The staff were friendly, and I liked that the restaurant didn't pressure you or make you feel uncomfortable.

Although a bit old, the facilities were excellent, security was top-notch, and the staff service was superb. I've stayed in more expensive hotels, but this one felt more reliable. The food was a bit disappointing compared to what I expected, but I appreciated that it felt like they prepared everything with guests in mind, allowing us to fully enjoy all the amenities.

This place is truly amazing and comfortable! The ocean is beautiful, and the room is super spacious! I loved it! The staff provided excellent service. We spent our entire trip eating, drinking, and having fun all within this resort. My husband and I came here to celebrate his birthday and our honeymoon.

Cedar Bay seems to offer great value for money. The accommodation was in excellent condition, the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and the ocean was beautiful. It's just a clean and perfect place to enjoy Mexico.

This hotel is absolutely terrible. I booked a partial ocean view deluxe king room through Trip.com for 3600 a night, totaling 7300 for two nights. Picture 1 shows the Trip.com listing. Upon entering, I saw a tall building directly in front of my window, completely blocking any ocean view (Picture 2). I went to the hotel to request a room change, and a female manager was incredibly aggressive, stating there were no rooms available. I told her I booked two months in advance, and she retorted that booking half a year in advance wouldn't make a difference, as I'd booked a 'high-rise view' room and my agent had tricked me. I then contacted Trip.com, who were very helpful and immediately tried to assist me. The manager initially offered a honeymoon suite, but it required an extra charge, which I refused. Suddenly, she offered a pool-view room. I told Trip.com it was fine and I'd just pay the difference. But then the real trouble began. After moving my luggage in and closing the door, I suddenly heard a deafening roar. As shown in Picture 3, there were two massive blowers rotating directly below! Furious, I had to drag my luggage back to the front desk to confront her, accusing her of deliberately giving me a noisy room and threatening to complain and give her a bad review. Only then did she reluctantly agree to give me a partial ocean view room the next day. I arrived at the hotel at 10 AM for an early flight, but couldn't check in until 3 PM. Now it's 7 PM, meaning I've spent over 4 hours without showering, resting, or changing clothes, and I have to wait until the next day to get the normal room I actually booked. For an all-inclusive hotel in Cancun, this level of aggression and shoddiness is unacceptable. I came here to relax, but the constant arguments completely ruined my mood. I genuinely advise everyone not to book here. On the third day, I moved to Hyatt Ziva, which offered a beautiful ocean view, excellent service, and everything else I could ask for. Do not fall into this trap, unless you want to spend 4 hours arguing like I did!

This is a truly amazing and wonderful place to stay. As soon as I arrived, they helped me check in at the Preferred Lounge, and everything from the food, desserts, to the cocktails was absolutely satisfying. The Sea Salt Grill by the pool on the first floor was especially great. The freshly grilled burgers there are what I remember most.

It was so good, seriously! The restaurants were all delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind. I really want to go back. Truly the best! It's paradise on Earth. The cocktails were amazing!

There are some great programs available if you're interested in participating, which I found surprisingly enjoyable. The hotel's location is good, and their system is excellent. I found the ordering process through their mobile app to be very efficient.

This is a very well-run all-inclusive hotel. The food and drinks are fantastic, and there are plenty of activities. The sea and beach are top-notch, and the environment feels safe. We had a wonderful holiday here. The only minor downside is that some restaurant staff were not very enthusiastic and seemed to treat guests differently.
