Far beyond expectations! The hotel beach is extremely clean and fine-grained. Lounging on a sunbed under a thatched hut by the sea is just so relaxing. Plus, it offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

You can watch the World Cup in the lobby! The beach and pool are right outside, and the sunset is incredibly romantic.

This Intercontinental is really run down, so I can't recommend it based on its facilities. The sound of doors opening and closing next door or across the hall made me think someone was coming into my room. All the amenities are just so old. It's also the peak of the sargassum bloom in Cancun, and the Intercontinental hasn't been spared. Even with daily clean-ups, the beachfront is still unsightly, though the sand itself is still wonderfully fine and soft. Overall, as a non-all-inclusive hotel, I wouldn't particularly recommend it!

A truly beautiful hotel with stunning white sand beaches, absolutely breathtaking. The service was excellent too. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit dated, but overall it's still great.

While the Caribbean scenery is beautiful, the hotel's facilities are truly subpar. The lighting is incredibly dim, the bathroom fixtures are rusty, and the curtains are torn. The telephone on the nightstand is yellowed and looks like it's 20 years old...

The hotel has two types of rooms: the slightly newer building is decent, but the older one is really not good. Other hotel facilities are just average and run-of-the-mill. The pool is basically just one pool – you can swim, and there's water! Breakfast is very basic, edible. However, the front desk staff (I tried speaking to four or five of them) are extremely rigid, only slightly better than robots. Very old-fashioned and inflexible. The area around the hotel is convenient, but there's nothing within walking distance (besides a gas station and a small supermarket). Overall, it's livable, but I definitely won't be returning. Oh, and you have to walk all the way to the door to turn off the room lights. The shower is quite funny: the handheld showerhead's water pressure is like a 90-year-old man peeing, and there's no hot water. The overhead showerhead is like a 50-year-old man, but at least it has hot water.
