The Astor - All Suites Hotel Candolim Goa

The hotel is new, which is a plus, and they offer free shuttle service to the beach. However, the breakfast caters heavily to Indian guests. There wasn't much for a Russian person to choose from. We didn't leave hungry, but that's because we resorted to coffee and muffins. For fruit, there was watermelon and papaya, but no vegetables. They do make fresh coffee. You have to order an omelet from the waiter, and there's no guarantee they'll bring it to your table instead of the one next to you... It felt like Russian tourists weren't treated with much respect. As for the room – it was clean, with tea, coffee, and a free minibar (2 beers, 2 Fantas, 2 coconut waters, 2 pomegranate waters). I liked that the TV was smart, so we could watch whatever we wanted online.

I booked a hotel for 8 nights from April 19th to 27th. It didn't rain once, but it was a little muggy, but bearable. Swimming in the ocean was fine; there were waves, but not big ones. That's about the weather in Goa at the end of April. Now a little about the hotel. Cleanliness, service, everything is top notch. The pool is not very big, you can swim until 8 pm, but even after 3 pm there is no one there. The water is not cold, as many people write, but a pleasant temperature. The pool itself is in the shade all day, so you won’t be able to sunbathe on the sun loungers, unless you move them to the sun from time to time. We had breakfasts, they were delicious, the choice was not particularly large, we never left hungry. The meat options alternated between chicken with curry, stewed fish pieces, bacon. The only greens were cucumbers and lettuce leaves, beets. You can order an omelet or fried eggs with spices, very tasty! Of the fruits, watermelon and papaya are very sweet. Coffee to order, cappuccino, latte, etc. Of the pastries, pancakes and waffles with caramel or jam. The hotel itself is not large, but very Cozy. We bought pineapples from local vendors, brought them to the kitchen, and they peeled and cut them for us and brought them to our room on a tray every day. Pineapples in Goa are also very sweet and aromatic, and cost 90 rupees a piece.

Perhaps the best hotel in Candolim. It's located in a residential area, a 15-minute walk to the beach. However, the hotel has a car that will take you there. You can rent a moped right next door, and you're free as a feather. Overall, it's an oasis of coolness and tranquility in hot and dirty Goa. The rooms are excellent, except for the lack of robes, but that's not the most important thing. The pool is generally ok, and there's a bar with double the price, but it's tolerable. Breakfast is very good: there's a selection from the menu, plus a selection of Indian dishes. They also have good coffee, fruit, pastries, waffles, and pancakes. There's something for everyone. The gym is modest, but you can find plenty to do: two treadmills, an elliptical (I think), free weights, and a couple of machines. The WiFi is decent and works quickly. We stayed for 5.5k/night—a truly incredible price for this hotel. Would I return to the Astor? I think so. If I had to choose between it, the Radisson, and the Hyatt (at the lowest price), I'd definitely go with the Astor.

Overall, the hotel was very good; we liked it. But there were some unpleasant moments. Since we hadn't booked in advance, we had to make several reservations. And once, when we were moving rooms, we didn't like the balcony; it was very small. We were offered another room for an additional fee, which we accepted. The room was terrible; it smelled damp and moldy. But the worst part was that the manager just threw up his hands and offered to freshen the air, and that was it. Apart from that, everything was just wonderful, especially the young ***, Linford; he deserves every praise!!!

Очень понравился отель, большие удобные номера, есть все необходимое. Бесплатно повысили тип номера. Отличная территория, хороший ресторан, трансфер на пляж. Внимательный, заботливый персонал. Прекрасно подходит для отдыха на ГОА.

Отель отличный. Сервис топ, завтраки хорошие, детям было что выбрать: сосиски, яйца варёные, каша на молоке, кексы, готовят свежие оладьи, вафли и омлет(пустой, с сыром, ветчиной, с овощами на выбор) Бассейн чистый, отель идеально новый. В минибаре в номере бесплатные чипсы и напитки (4 бутылки пива, по 2 шт колы, спрайта и фанты, 8 бутылок воды, кокосовый и гранатовый соки. На пляж и с пляжа возит бесплатно индивидуально авто. Просто нужно сказать на ресепшен и в течении минуты авто готово. С пляжа можно написать в ватсап в отель и они пришлют бесплатный трансфер до отеля. Вернулся бы в этот отель- однозначно да.

Отель замечательный, завтрак великолепный, можно заказывать по меню. Да, до моря пешком минут 15, но постоянно курсирует автобус Отдыхом очень довольны!!!
