Novotel Goa Resort & Spa

Our stay at Novotel Spa & Resort Goa was quite disappointing overall. The biggest issue was the persistent bad smell in the rooms. We had to change rooms after the first night, but the second room also had the same problem. Even after an upgrade to a suite, the issue was not fully resolved, and it felt like the rooms and washrooms need proper renovation, with visible wear like cracks and flooring issues. Another major drawback was that the swimming pool was under renovation, which we were not informed about at the time of booking. This was especially inconvenient given the heat, as we had planned to spend time at the pool during the day. Although the hotel offered access to a pool at another property via shuttle, it was not practical to travel back and forth just to use basic amenities. We also requested a checkout and refund for the remaining nights through Trip.com due to these issues, but the request was declined. On the positive side, the staff was polite and tried their best to accommodate us, including offering a room upgrade and shuttle service. Breakfast was decent, but the menu remained mostly the same every day, which can be monotonous for longer stays. Overall, while the staff was helpful, the maintenance issues and lack of transparency about amenities significantly impacted our experience.

I am so glad that I chose this hotel in the last minute. Had very great experience staying here. I would highly recommend others to experience their hospitality and ambience.

Nice and charm hotel in Goa, good structural design. If the breakfast is more international(nearly only Indian food), that will be more great.

Great Location, pleasant staff, awesome breakfast . clean room

Overall this was a very satisfying stay. A few major hiccups but less on account of the hotel or staff. Certain times of the year it does get too busy. During our stay it was found to be comfortable and satisfying. I think the staff here are very professional and dedicated to what they are doing. I would return for a stay here.
