Novotel Goa Resort & Spa

Overall this was a very satisfying stay. A few major hiccups but less on account of the hotel or staff. Certain times of the year it does get too busy. During our stay it was found to be comfortable and satisfying. I think the staff here are very professional and dedicated to what they are doing. I would return for a stay here.

This is a beautiful property with all the amenities. Breakfast buffet is very good. Beautiful ambiance.Special thanks to paresh Echita at reception and Shailendraa, Glawin and Prajwal at food exchange for taking extra care. Food was absolutely delicious

Its a OYO ! I guess a few OYO rooms would be better ...Dont worry my pics will speak ...Pathetic is a better word than the experience here. I am not new to 5 stars anywhere. Please don't get fooled by the name here. It's a terrible piece of maintainence + upkeep + etc etc ...( Pasting pics here ). Service - Not a glass of water served.... An hr to checkin ... Experience is horrible .... I can't say about other reviews and their genuineness.... ...AVOID .... AVOID .... AVOID.. seepage , smell , dirty linens , torn upholstery, broken heater , rusted fridge . CHeck my stay pics

We have visited Goa many times as a family and chose Novotel Resort & Spa Goa this time hoping to relax within the resort. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its 5-star claim. The rooms were in poor condition and we had to change rooms three times to find something acceptable. The property also felt small with very limited facilities – apart from a crowded swimming pool, a run-down table tennis table, and a paid pool table, there was really nothing much to do. Overall, it did not feel like a resort experience, nor did it meet 5-star expectations. On the positive side, the staff and service were warm and helpful throughout, which made the stay easier despite the challenges. The breakfast spread was quite good, with a nice variety each morning. Another redeeming factor was the location – it was within walking distance of many excellent food places, leaving us spoilt for choice each day. Overall, we were hoping for a relaxing resort experience but found it lacking, except for the good service, breakfast, and the convenience of the location.

The suite was in bad shape—upholstery smelled awful and overall upkeep was lacking. This is not what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. Staff was polite, but that doesn't make up for the subpar condition of the room. I had high expectations for this not so deserving 5-star hotel, but unfortunately, the condition of their best and highest standard suite did not match the luxury rating. While the service staff was courteous, the suite itself was poorly maintained. The upholstery had a noticeable, unpleasant odor that made it hard to relax or feel comfortable during the stay. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected spotless cleanliness and fresh, well-maintained furnishings. Instead, it felt like basic upkeep had been neglected. It’s disappointing when attention to detail—which should be a hallmark of a luxury property—is lacking. I hope management addresses these issues, but cleanliness and upkeep are non-negotiable at this level.

Memorable stay at Novotel Goa resort. Check in and check out experience was good. Reception team was professional and very much helpful through out our stay. Room was clean. Food was good and services was good at restaurant. Good breakfast spread. Will come back again
