De Mandarin Beach Resort Suites & Villas, Candolim

We stayed at the Mandarin Hotel. We had breakfast included. Our deluxe room didn't have a balcony. By Indian standards, this hotel is very high-quality. The room was nice, with air conditioning and a fan, a refrigerator, toiletries, clean linens, and drinking water every day. The grounds were clean and well-maintained, 5 minutes from the sea. The staff was polite, they did everything they could to accommodate your needs, even trying to anticipate your needs. Highly recommended.

A high-quality hotel with excellent staff and beautiful grounds. The village center is a 5-minute walk away. It consists of several separate buildings and one two-story villa with two rooms. Rooms with a nominal sea view are available, but you're unlikely to see anything from that building, as the beach is 150 meters away and the path is overgrown with trees. Near the hotel, there are numerous restaurants, mini-markets, and a currency exchange counter in the liquor store (open in the evenings). You can also find affordable meals on site. The beach is accessed through a small, empty lot, but you immediately find numerous open shacks with sun loungers. The food is simple, with a menu for lunch and dinner. Some dishes are spicy, but the staff is happy to customize the menu as much as possible.

The hotel has beautiful, well-maintained grounds, the staff is polite and helpful, and the breakfasts in the restaurant are delicious! The reception staff is very welcoming and quickly and efficiently resolves all issues. The rooms have everything you need. There's a pool and it's close to the sea. Very clean! Excellent location, everything is nearby, the sea, shops and cafes. The area is clean, green, very well-groomed, no extraneous noise, only birds singing) The pool is clean, the water is a comfortable temperature, there are a few sun loungers, but basically everything is on the sea and there is always space. The rooms are spacious, the ceilings are high, everything in the room is in good condition, the rooms are cleaned daily, the rooms are also treated from mosquitoes, which is very important, because there are no mosquito nets on the windows, there is also a fumigator in the room. The bed is comfortable, the bed linen is clean and of good quality. The breakfast is quite decent, but there was not enough of the usual porridge and yogurt. The staff is friendly. The hotel has a calm, comfortable atmosphere, we will be happy to return again!
