De Mandarin Goa

The hotel was perfect: location, food, service. We booked half-board with dinners, so I'd like to tell you about them. The breakfasts were average, you won't go hungry, and the dinners were simply amazing! Every other day, there was either a buffet or an à la carte menu: the dishes were incredibly delicious, filling, and not too spicy. The room was cleaned every day, water was replenished, and towels were changed. I definitely recommend De Mandarin!

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days. The location is excellent, just a 7-minute walk to the sea. Check-in was quick, even though the hotel's check-in time is 2:30 PM. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The breakfasts are good for India: always an omelet, jam, eggs, two kinds of fruit, cereal, tea, and toast—you won't go hungry. The room is excellent, everything works, there are no issues with hot water, and they clean it every day, but you have to press the cleaning button. There's a pool on the 5th floor, and it's rarely crowded. Overall, I liked the hotel; if I come back to Candolim, I'd choose it again without a second thought.

DD. This was my first time in India, in April. In my subjective opinion, the country wasn't suitable for me as a solo traveler. I chose the hotel based on reviews; it was mostly filled with local tourists. I think the breakfast was also appropriate. I disagree with previous reviews about the food; I didn't have enough choice, so I had an omelet, flatbreads, and tea with milk straight from the kettle. The staff is very customer-oriented, definitely a plus, attentive in every way! The bedding is good, crisp white, and the pillows are comfortable. The bathroom fixtures are all in good working order, there are liquid toiletries in dispensers (no hair conditioner, so bring your own), dental kit, an iron and ironing board, and plenty of towels and water. The location seems close to everything, but I got tired of walking to the beach. I picked up a taxi driver near the hotel and took him to buy fruit, go to a restaurant, and visit other beaches. There's a currency exchange office nearby that I can use if needed. The Wi-Fi is excellent; I used it for work, and the connection was excellent.

I liked the hotel, the staff was excellent, the breakfast was a 3, otherwise everything was good

Overall, it's worth the money. The breakfast isn't great, and the linens and interior of the room aren't entirely clean.

Wonderful hotel! Great location, 7 minutes to the sea. Excellent breakfasts, clean rooms, a great pool, and friendly staff.
