Copperstone Resort

The room is perfect for families as it’s spacious. The one we stayed in can accommodate up to six people, making it a great option for larger groups. Although it’s not located right in downtown Canmore, it’s only a short drive away. Our room also had a kitchen, which is perfect if you prefer to cook your own meals. Basic cooking utensils, such as pans, are provided, although some of them are a little worn and could be updated. The room itself is a little dated, and some of the chairs had damaged surfaces. It would also be better if the reception opened earlier, as it was still closed when we wanted to speak to someone at 8:15 a.m. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Stayed at this property many times in the past and really enjoyed it, this time not so much, becoming run down, showing age and show the fact that most of property units are now Air BNBs. Now maid service for clean towels and you take out your own garbage, not used to that when paying for a hotel!! No one at front desk all day to ask question if need anything. So if want the hotel experience this property is no longer it.

The room we booked had tears on the couch, hair on the sheets in the bed, filthy and not ready for occupancy. The staff was helpful in making another room work but than cable in the building we were moved to was out and we were not informed about it. The list goes on and the only redeeming part of the trip was how the staff tried their best to make it work

we stayed for the weekend and found it was great for the family to have as a base camp - large rooms - all amenities to make suppers and breakfasts - the staff were great when we needed larger pots and ideas for walks to take.

Nice, quiet condo with views of the forest & private balcony. Pet friendly. Hot tub area is nice & underground parking is a bonus. Staff was very friendly when we couldn’t figure out how to get into our room. 5 min to Canmore for groceries & 35 min to Nakiska ski hill. Great value.

Comfortable, quiet, clean, staff were polite and helpful. We had 3 units for 3 families for a family gathering, everyone was happy with their room.

Parking was easy, bath towels, face cloths and hand towels could be replaced.Dining chairs need recovered.

In our unit a little bit of maintenance is required, fan did not work in the bathroom and neither did the light above the stove. I would have liked our own bbq but the community ones were excellent. Bare minimum kitchen utensils but had all the main ones. Seems like a lot to complain about but to be honest it’s a very good place to stay everything else was excellent and would definitively stay there again

Wonderful experience celebrating our daughter’s 18th bday! Really appreciate the upgrade, and kindness of staff. Hot tub was so relaxing and really enjoyed the heated underground parking. Can’t wait to return!!
