Fine hotel, if it was renovated. It has good bones, but needs investment to make things fresh again. Employees were excellent, restaurant is good and an excellent pool just 10 km away from the center of Lucca. The area around the hotel is agricultural, in a boring way. Don’t expect the tipical Tuscan vistas here!

Nice enough place but very dated. Pool is superb but doesnt open until 9 ! so no early morning swim before work for me. Closes again at 7 so only just got in after work. Restaurant appears expensive. Overall not bad but needs an overhaul

Let’s make it clear: this is not a 4 star hotel! This is just a party venue with a public pool where the hotel is just a side hustle. Rooms are clean and staff is nice, but everything is so basic and dated. With screaming local kids at the pool, late wedding and birthday parties with music and fireworks until late in the evening, swimming instructors with whistles, this place is not something where one can get propper R&R. No ammenities in the room, very scarce breakfast and constant flow of the people from outside passing trough would make this place 2 star hotel at the most. Also, it is important to remember that if two men book a room together, give them what they booked and do not presume that they want a room with two sepperate beds! Unfortunately this place was bit of a dissappointment. I guess the place had it’s glory days in late 70’s, but it just didn’t cought up with the time.

We received a fantastic, professional and first class service at this hotel. Most of the staff speaks excellent English and is all the time prepared to go an extra mile. Internet is so good that you can watch Netflix or your kids game easy on their Nintendos. Our triple bed room was new refurbished, had a brand new ac ( quite and smellfree) and the rooms were spotless clean. The swimming pool has the best lifeguard team and cute little buffet serving aperol spritz and delicious salads. The restaurant and waiters are amazing and very attentive especially Mateo and Ardita. Just be polite to all as their hard work makes this hotel shine. Yes it is a bit dated but I have a feel they work on the refurbishment and I don’t mind as long as everything is very clean and the service is 4 stars! Good luck for the staff for this season and thank you again for having us.

I have been staying at country club hotel for one week with my family. The hotel facilities are a bit average for an hotel having a 4 star rating, some renovation is needed bur all hotel common facilities are kept very clean and in good order, you always see people from the staff taking care of the reception, bar, swimming pool, parking places and garden and this makes you feel very good. The room too is not very special but there are good and comfortable mattresses and a big enough bathroom with a good water flow in the shower. But again the room and bathroom are kept extremely clean. The restaurant is offering good option from the local food and the breakfast is very complete, sweet and salty. The swimming pool is big and offers space for all guests plus external guests. But what makes the real difference is the staff at every level, at the reception, in the restaurant, in the swimming pool, t Hey are all extremely kind, professional and show genuine interest in making their guests happy,and this is a great feeling. We will definitely come back if we come back to Tuscany. Last but not least: great value for money!

Esperienza negativa ! ! Non ci hanno dato una camera dicendo che erano tutte piene . . solamente dopo aver visto che non eravamo italiani ma stranieri di colore ! Siamo nel 2024 e non si può esere giudicati dal colore della pelle

L'hotel è una struttura molto accogliente con ottimi servizi. Tutto il personale, specie alla reception, è eccezionalmente gentile, disponibile ed instaura un rapporto con il cliente davvero simpatico. Forse il locale potrebbe essere un po' ammodernato, ma va bene anche così. D'estate con il gran caldo, le due piscine, adulti (25m) e bambini, sono ottimi per famiglie con bambini. Molto validii i servizi di ristorazione, colazione e, volendo, tutti o pasti. Apparentemente un po' fuori mano, non bisogna farsi spaventare dal navigatore che fa fare giri assurdi. Da Lucca, Porta Elisa o San Pietro, la via Pesciatina porta diritto all'hotel in pochi minuti. Ampio posteggio.
