This apartment was the perfect base for our Cape Town trip, offering a secure and comfortable stay. The unit is nicely decorated and very secure, with the added benefit of safe, secure parking. Ideally located in a great neighbourhood, we were just walking distance from the V&A Waterfront, restaurants, and the Promenade.

Location was great at De Waterkant. The award winning World’s top coffeeshop (Espressolab) is just right on the ground floor. However, our room had small baby cockroaches roaming around, especially around the kitchen wash basin area. There was also no air conditioning in the bed rooms, only in the living room. It would be too warm in summer time.

The location is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the rooms are beautiful and spacious. Note that there are regulations in Cape Town tourist areas prohibiting clothes from drying on balconies. Also, the cleanliness of the dishes in the guest rooms is only average; if you're cooking, it's best to wash them again.

Good location, the apartment had everything you need. Free closed parking is provided. The mattress was too soft and there was no cleaning service on Saturday and Sunday.

Apartments are spacious, with balcony and well maintained. Definitely a super value for the rate! 10-15 minutes walk to the Waterfront, if that’s yr main destination.
