The Tropicana Hotel

Everyone is really friendly.The hotel is near by the sea.My room was at the top.I like it so much.

The hotel is more like a serviced apartment style with a small kitchnette and full amenities, but it also has the benefit of a 24-hour reception and daily housekeeping, so the stay was very comfortable. The room is quite spacious and all spaces are well-maintained in terms of amenities and cleaniness. The view is nice from the balcony which can look into the oceanside or mountainside.

Great location, steps away from the beach. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast at the nearby cafe, Juno. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Cape Town.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The employees are VERY friendly and helpful. We stored our 4 suitcases for hours and they were safe. Employees helped me load my bags in the taxi. Hotel is clean and not noisy. I stayed on the 7th floor. There are May restaurants around the hotel and you can easily walk to them. Our favorite was the GREEK FISHERMAN. Lovely sun set views. Kitchen has many useful items. We just would had loved a sponge to wash our dishes.

Access is via codes etc so quite high tech. Staff nice. Room a bit weird design but good facilities for self catering etc and the shower was good with nice, complimentary shampoo etc. If you want space, facilities and great location at a reasonable price but don't want unnecessary opulence then it's a decent choice for Sea Point if you get it for a decent price.

This hotel is the best in money value and cleanliness in Cape Town. I will definitely book this again!

Such a pretty hotel, more like an air bnb. If you’re looking for aesthetically pleasing space, this is it. Location is great, 2 minute walk to the promenade and the area is relatively safe. Enjoyed the coffee from downstairs coffee shop, Juno.

The hotel is adorable, there is a full separate bedroom and a full kitchen. The location is superb, I can seriously live here.
