The unit was a good size and ours overlooked the sea. The sitting room and bedroom one had good views, but oddly, bedroom 2 had no windows which was really peculiar! All the reception staff are great and the car park is a fab asset. Strand Pavillion is within walking distance to a huge number of restaurants. One of the best ones is right next door. Over the road is a superb supermarket with a great array of cooked food available to take away. We experienced the "Cape doctor" whilst we were staying. This is not fun. The very high wind sandblasted us every time we went out and the sand came in through closed windows too!! Apart from that we had a very good time.

My husband and I recently spent a week at the Strand Pavilion. While we appreciated the location of this resort in relation to the Cape Peninsula and the South African wine country, the stretch of beach on which the resort sits is fairly dirty (not as bad as Bali beaches, but certainly not as clean as beaches in other parts of Cape Town). There were even signs posted regarding not swimming because of sewage leaking into the sea. On the flip side, the staff members were friendly and helpful. The resort itself is somewhat dated but kept in good working order, and we liked our ocean view.

Our first time in South Africa staying at the Strand Pavilion was very relaxing and a good way to accumulate. The staff was great! The location and views were memorable. We celebrated my wife's birthday and the staff surprised her with flowers and wine. The staff was constantly providing excellent service.

Great resort. Everything was good from check-in to check-out. I slept good being close to the waves crashing on the beach.

Fabulous hotel. Location clean friendly staff spacious 1 bedroom first week then spacious overlooming sea 3 bed. Cannot fault this hotel in anyway. Uber easy accesd to Cape Town and Strand town itself perfect with local chesp laundry facilites across the road. Roof top Gordons Bay to Cape of Good Hope and our bedroom overlook the sea.

What a great establishment with a wonderful view. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and perfectly equipped. It is about a 40 minute drive from Cape Town, but there are loads of shops and restaurants close by, and very close to the heart of the winelands.

Strand Pavilion - fantastic location with a beautiful view. Friendly staff - professional and very helpful. Value for money. Lovely place to stay. Apartment nice and clean. Well equipped. Love the swimming pool and view from the deck.

Stunning ocean view! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Clean rooms with all the amenities that you need. Although they are busy with renovations it didn't affected the stay at all. Can't wait to seethe place when it is finished. Will definitely visit again.

The place was amazing and it was exactly like it was advertised. This is a hotel I would definitely recommend to anyone and I'll also be sure to go again to Strand Pavilion Hotel. The views was amazing.
