AC Hotel Cape Town Waterfront

The hotel is very clean. All staffs are very polite and friendly. They offer good service. Guest room has a variety of amenities. The location is safe. Shuttle service to V&A Waterfront every hour. Parking service but not free.

The hotel is not on the waterfront. It is ok ! Rooms walls are paper thin. So much noise from corridors and rooms. Not a good value for the money

Although the hotel was relatively clean and felt safe, our overall experience was disappointing due to constant noise issues. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and both nights we were woken up by very loud noise from the room next door. It sounded like gatherings or people speaking loudly late into the night. We contacted reception both nights, and security did come to check. On the second night, even security acknowledged that the noise was excessive, but they were unable to get the guest to lower the volume. The guest claimed it was just the TV. At around 11 PM, the hotel offered to move us to another room, but by then the disruption had already affected our rest. We suspect the noise carried through the connecting door, which made it even worse. We ended up getting only 4–5 hours of sleep each night, which defeats the purpose of staying at a hotel. During checkout, when asked about our stay, I mentioned the issue, but the response felt dismissive (“Oh thank you”), which gave the impression that guest feedback wasn’t taken seriously. Overall, while the hotel has some positives, the lack of effective noise control and follow-up made this a bad experience. I would not recommend staying here.

Staff were fabulous very friendly and happy, breakfast superb . Room very clean it was perfect We had fantastic views of table mountain and Signal hill.

Lovely location near waterfront, with shuttle service to waterfront. Great service and clean comfortable rooms.

Service was excellent in the hotel, breakfast was excellent with a good variety to choose from. The gym was small but did the job, the pool was not maintained well (could be cleaner), but the sundeck was nice. There is a free hourly shuttle from the hotel to the waterfront which is nice, but also the hotel is isolated so it is much needed...
