Superb location at V&A waterfront - pricey but they upgraded my.room.to Table Mountain view which was a superb highlight for my stay. Breakfast with a vjew and.grear choices. Gym - Virgin Gym was OUTSTANDING..One of thr best ever gym I've been in my whole life.

Dinner at Cape Grace was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. Every detail was handled with such care, making the entire evening feel truly special and luxurious. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, but what really made the experience unforgettable was the level of hospitality. The team went above and beyond to make us feel spoilt and welcomed throughout the night. A truly memorable dining experience and one I would recommend without hesitation. I will 100% be back.

We spent six nights there in Apr 2026. All the superlatives mentioned in prior reviews are true. Nothing but the highest praise for this property. Rooms left nothing out, the mountain views, both day and night, were magnificent. The food service was amazing. The rates reflect a perfect location on the waterfront and an amazing experience.

Our stay at Cape Grace was truly exceptional and one that my parents and I will remember for many years to come. From the moment we arrived, we experienced the most genuine warmth, care and outstanding hospitality. Leon Meyer, the General Manager, leads an extraordinary team who truly understand what it means to create memorable guest experiences. A very special mention must go to Bulelwa, Ben and Charmaine, alongside so many other wonderful team members whose names I unfortunately cannot all mention. Every interaction felt genuine and personal, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The team consistently went above and beyond, not because they had to, but because exceptional hospitality clearly comes naturally to them. Having spent my career in the hotel industry, I perhaps notice the details more than most, and what stood out at Cape Grace was not simply the beautiful hotel, but the people behind it. It is very special when a team can make an already wonderful hotel feel like somewhere you genuinely don't want to leave. Most importantly, I had the opportunity to create some incredibly special memories with my parents, and the Cape Grace team played such a meaningful part in making our time together unforgettable. We recently brought a client group to Cape Grace Spa, and the experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We enjoyed a week at this wonderful hotel and it was a faultless experience. The setting is superb, the rooms and public areas luxurious and comfortable, and the food is of a very high standard. But what really made our stay special were the staff. Every team member that we interacted with was warm, welcoming and could not do enough to help. Special mention must be made of the concierge team, with whom we were in contact with via email for a few weeks before our stay. They organised some memorable trips for us, each of which went without a hitch. The Cape Grace isn’t the cheapest of hotels, but I do believe it offers good value for money. If we return to Cape Town we would not hesitate to stay there again.

We had the best four night stay. The hotel and our room were absolutely beautiful and very clean. Perfect location on V&A Waterfront. The staff are all very welcoming, thoughtful and made our stay a five star experience!!

Just completed a 9 night stay at this superb property which exudes elegance, class and style with recently refreshed interiors. The location is simply the best in Cape Town, steps from the V&A Waterfront and centrally located for just about any activity or tour. What really sets the Cape Grace apart is its staff, from Aidan its superb concierge who arranged remarkable tours, to "Mc" at The Library and every team member I encountered, all were committed to providing a flawless guest experience. This is a property which knows the meaning of hospitality and a true 5 star hotel with an authentic Cape Town vibe. Already planning my return visit.
