I can’t say enough positive things about this property. To be sure, there were some problems related to load shedding /blackouts in SA, but the mark of a great hotel is how they respond to problems. They had LED lights to use and the generator they have would run lights , TV, and internet. It takes some getting used to, but the power outages will occur no matter where you stay. They upgraded our room on arrival and we had an entire apartment with hyper modern appliances including convection oven and microwave with convection stovetop The refrigerator was stocked daily with cheese, eggs, bacon, Turkey, juice, milk, and fresh fruit. Two baguettes and two croissants were placed on the door at 8 AM each morning. The rooftop pool bar was tres chic and the drinks cost a fraction of what they would in the US. Best recommendation: pay whatever airfare it takes to get to Cape Town and enjoy Camps Bay at the South Beach Hotel!
