Diamond House Guesthouse

We truly enjoyed our time at Diamond House Guesthouse, and the service and accommodation exceeded my expectations. I will certainly keep Diamond House Guesthouse in mind for future visits to Cape Town and will gladly recommend it to others.

We stayed here as our first stop on a two week trip around SA. First of all, the staff are incredible (especially the managers, Madison and (I think?) Christian). Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel so at ease. They were very knowledgeable about how to go about doing various activities, where to eat etc., and gave us a good steer on how to do things safely. The location is great - lovely views of Camps Bay, easy 25 downhill walk into the town which felt very safe. Also easy to get Ubers to all the main attractions. The property was very clean and the rooms were spacious, and we had no concerns about security. The breakfast was also lovely. Overall, an excellent base to explore Cape Town from!

I had to cancel my booking, and despite this being within the full cancellation period, 3 weeks later I've not had any refund. Also haven't had any communications back from them during the whole period and they're not responding now.

We stayed in Camps Bay for 4 nights and had a really relaxed stay here. All of the staff were very friendly & welcoming. Great spread at breakfast. Nice pool and amazing views. We loved the honesty bar and they also offer both a laundry and an ironing service. The property could do with a little TLC . Many of the light fittings around the pool were damaged or broken. The pool side beds & furniture would also benefit from upgrading. Our ceiling fan didn't work and despite mentioning it on the first day it wasn't fixed. Other guests also seemed to have some issues. Overall we'd be happy to stay here again due to the location & the quality of the staff but some investment in the property is overdue.

The property is beautifully nestled at the foot of Table Mountain. The view is stunning, especially when enjoying the delicious free breakfast. The manager and staff knows customer service and went out of their way to make sure all my needs were met.

Had a lovely stay at the Diamond Guest house. The room was very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were excellent. Although the hotel is a little back from the beach it was easy to get to both Cape town and Camps Bay by using Uber. We were able to use the pool on our last day and we appreciated the fact they have a bathroom available for guests who have checked out so we were able to freshen up before our flight.

Fantastic property in every way! Amazing staff, room, breakfast, public areas. Absolutely nothing to fault and would return at the drop of a hat! We experienced the best and most friendly welcome of any property we have ever stayed in. We loved and enjoyed every moment of our stay and although we were moving on within South Africa, we were sorry to leave Diamond House and the amazing staff.

AMAZING place to stay in Cape Town. Great location, beautiful views, breakfast was included and absolutely delicious. The place was super clean and tidy, but the best of all is the staff!! The lady in charge, whose name is Roashan, was welcoming from start to end. She helped with tips and advice, always with a smile. Beautiful person. The cooking and cleaning members, Prisca and her team, are incredible too. Very aware of all our needs and wants. Highly recommended, our home away from home!!

My husband and I stayed at Diamond House Camps Bay for 5 nights in early May 2024 whilst we were holidaying in the Cape Town area. Roshann and her staff were exceptional and our every need was met. They were all genuinely friendly and welcomed us into their beautiful guest house which is set high up at the base of Table Mountain overlooking Camp’s Bay. The sea view at sunset is spectacular and the mountain backdrop, magnificent. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning which included a cooked option if desired. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Room service was provided each day. Our stay was wonderful and we would highly recommend this guest house to anyone wanting to explore Cape Town.
