We had a wonderful stay at The Rockefeller Hotel in Cape Town. The location is superb, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and enjoy local dining options. The door staff were a highlight of my visit—extremely professional and friendly, they greeted everyone with genuine warmth and were always ready to assist. Overall, I highly recommend The Rockefeller Hotel for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Cape Town. If you're local however, the hotel and related amenities may be a bit on the expensive side.

The duty Manager, Victoria, was great and very accommodating. It was our wedding anniversary and Victoria accommodated our request for a view facing Table Mountain. We were very happy about that. The housekeeping staff were brilliant, always smiling and joyful to all guests making them feel welcome. In terms of the restaurant/breakfast area, it was quite disappointing as we noticed some guests receiving more attention than others, and at times, felt as though we were ignored and invisible. Unfortunately, on our last day, we bit into a sharp and hard piece of what seemed like bottle plastic in the food from the buffet section. When alerting the restaurant staff, they did not really seem bothered about the danger it had should we have swallowed it.

The service was warm and attentive, the room was very comfortable and spotless, and the location was perfect for exploring some of the city’s attractions.
