Facility was chosen because of our affiliation with the Choice Hotel group. Front foyer was amazing but that's where the charm ends. 1st attempt at check in was room 222 which was under deconstruction. Stairs to the 2nd floor were filthy and unswept. 2nd attempt at check in was room 155. Hallway rug was filthy and unswept. Hallway walls were patched and unpainted. Room rug had not been vacuumed but the bed had clean sheets and the bathroom was acceptable. Towel rack had been installed noticeably uneven. TV did not have a cable signal. As it turns out, the system is hooked up to a light switch near the room entry door. Who knew? Room access was gained sometime in the early evening by a guest or hotel employee while we were watching TV.. Poorly closed door? Not sure but deadlocked after that. Next visit will be a pass at this hotel...
