Wonderful hotel surrounded by nature and tranquility. The room was a little dated but that totally added to the charm of the place and it certainly had all the necessities. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were amazing and always helpful. The pool was heavenly after a hot day out. The breakfast was plentiful and fabulous with both sweet and salty dishes. The restaurant on site served delicious food and the home produced Chianti was a real treat. A great choice for a place to stay while exploring the Chianti region while also close enough to drive to Siena. We will be back!

Great Hotel in fantastic location. Very friendly and nice staff . Rooms with airco overseeing the rolling Chianti area hills and an easy 15 min car ride away from Siena . Big swimming pool and nice walks on the estate. Wine tasting is a nice bonus .

This was such a cute vineyard hotel to stay in! It was very quaint and had tons of charm! The only complaint would be the smell of cigarette smoke (I’m from the US and I’m not used to it). It could also be a bit noisy, but that’s to be expected with B&B type properties. All in all, it was a wonderful place!

Warning! This is not a 4 star hotel - more like 1 star. Casafrassi is completely run down, and you can tell it’s not being looked after or maintained. We planned to stay for two nights but checked out after 10 min. The room was filthy and the bathroom looked like someone never cleaned it. Mold in the ceiling and on the walls. Spiders on the floor and lizards in the ceiling. Extremely moist in the room - the floor even lifted from the ground. I have spent over 100 nights in different hotels the last 3 years and this is probably one of the worst ever. When we pointed this out to the owner we got the option to change to another room - but paying 50 EUR/night extra. We turned this down and decided to book another hotel instead. The owners are rude and doesn’t know what service or cleaning is.

One of the worst experiences ever! We planned to stay for two nights, ending our 7 days vacation in Chianti , but ended up leaving the “hotel” after 10 minutes. The room reminded of your worst nightmare - the first thing we saw was a huge spider crawling on the bathroom floor and a lizard in the ceiling. The toilet looked like someone used it two weeks ago and decided not to flush - nor had the staff cleaned it - ever. The shower was in a bad condition with mold on the walls and ceiling and we would never have used it. The floor in the bedroom was swollen from the moisture in the room. The entire building and surroundings are completely run down. When we saw the room we immediately went down to the reception and pointed this out and asked for another room. The owner and what seemed to be her son said we could have another room - with an extra charge of 50 EUR per night - which we of course said no to. They refused to pay us anything back or cancel the booking and claimed they have a business to run and that we need to understand their side…..what a joke. Worst customer service we have ever seen! After many discussions they gave us 120 EUR back - from a total of 300 EUR. We took the money and ran as fast as we could. We recommend you STAY AWAY from this accommodation - it deserves maximum 1 star. The only good thing with this place was the very helpful young girl in the reception who really tried her best to help us.

Room was too small. Shower did not drain well.

Family run Wine Estate Hotel in the Chianti region. Place has lots of character and landscape is beautiful. However it can be tricky to find, and is relatively far. Reception closes so important to check in early. Rooms can be a bit hot. Wine tasting with Cosmos is a must.

The restaurant was amazing, Luca and his daughter were great!!!
