Villa Cozzano

One of the best stays I’ve ever experienced! We came here with our 9 month old daughter and the villa was perfect for our young family. They provided a crib for us. You definitely get what you pay for. The staff is super accommodating and hospitable. Anything we wanted or needed, they provided and super quickly too! Any time I messaged them on WhatsApp they responded within minutes. This is what separates Villa Cozzano from any other property- the staff are all extremely well trained, kind and knowledgeable. The food at the restaurant was phenomenal- we loved that they use fresh ingredients mostly from the land. The villa itself is secluded and offers the most beautiful picturesque fairytale backdrop. The inside of the villa was quaint and had everything we wanted and needed. The staff arranged tours and taxi rides for us so that we never had to find someone ourselves- a huge plus. The bed was made every day and fresh towels were provided without even asking. The story behind this villa is heartwarming, and it makes me love this place even more. If you’re thinking about heading to Tuscany/Umbria, please book here. They have so many add-ons and I promise they are worth it. Phenomenal 10/10. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights over our wedding anniversary. Villa Cozzano is amazing. It’s exactly what we thought Italian, rustic charm would be. The rooms are perfectly appointed. They had everything we needed in them but not too much, which is always a bug bear when you end up tripping over your suitcase because you’ve got nowhere to put it. The setting and building is stunning; you can see the care and attention that has been put into it over recent refurbishments. The staff were excellent. They are friendly, welcoming and attentive. They offer a number of paid extras if you want to do them. We thought what the heck and we took them up on the offer of having a private picnic in the grounds, a couples massage in the grounds, horse riding (a 15 minute drive away) and an experience meal which is effectively a set course meal somewhere in their grounds. In keeping with the general experience, these extras are also excellently executed. We had the picnic as soon as we had arrived and I couldn’t think of a better welcome after travelling since the early hours. We are very lucky and that we have travelled extensively and we could’ve pretty much gone anywhere we would’ve liked for our 10th wedding anniversary. Because of that we were getting a little blind from all the options given that there were so many things available to us. We are so glad that we saw Villa Cozzano and booked it on a bit of a whim. We will absolutely go back., but next time we will take our children to. There have been some negative reviews left on here and whilst I don’t know the specific circumstances of them, they are not experiences or aspects of Villa Cozzano that I recognise having just spent four days there. It genuinely is a wonderful place to use as a base and explore the region, or like us, just flake out and have some time doing in particular.

The experience at this place did not meet expectations. Although it is presented as a ‘villa,’ it is actually an agriturismo. During my stay, I noticed serious cleanliness issues, as I saw rats both in the dining area and in the room. The management seems to be handled by very young and inexperienced people, which affects the quality of service. The energy and attitude of the two reception and billing staff were unpleasant, adding to the negative experience. The food and drinks are overpriced but do not match the value, either in taste or presentation. The only highlight is the sunset view, which lasts a short time and does not justify the overall cost. There are more affordable options in the area with better service and quality. I would not recommend it.

The hotel has everything, beatifull location with zen, a very friendly and service-minded staff and nice rooms in this building from 1541. Our stay in the “Masso-room” was completed with an in-room dinner with open fire in the fire place. A fantastic experience, arranged by the staff. The hotel is highly recommended - we will be back for sure

The place is in a beautiful location but it is severely overpriced. It is an agriturismo but they charge like a 5 star hotel. You can do better than here. Host became seriously aggressive when I enquired as to what they feel justified the price. The answer was that they have a lot of land to look after, they need to make improvements to the property and we only stayed a short time. So basically, they charge the amount they need to make the place better in the future and ignore the quality of product that they offer at the moment. Not impressed.
