Great location, next to Cardiff market (~ 1 minute walk), and close to Cardiff castle (within 10minutes), have basic necessities (eg kitchen), spacious toilet and shower room.

Hairdryer is provided in the shared shower room, and with curtain next to each bed which provides greater conveniency and privacy. While free tea and coffee are provided next to the reception 24/7. However, the lock here is password lock, and the staff would change the password frequently for preventing homeless people, this can be good or not, one hand is providing greater safety, yet, it can also make you being lock outside the hostel (that's what I experienced). And one more thing is that I found bloodstain on the bed sheet. Overall, I would say it's a cost-effective choice

The location, free coffee, and the size of the room were all great.
The only thing that bothered me was that the light wouldn't turn on for my bed, and even though I told the receptionist, they didn't fix it. The room was a little cold, and the shower was a little lukewarm.

It's close to the station and on the main street of Center Street, so it's easy to go anywhere. Cleanliness is high among hostels. Overall recommended.
