The rooms were unique and very Tucson style. They were quiet. You didn't really notice the other quests. The one restaurant we went to was really good. Prices were about what you'd expect for a resort, but tasted amazing. There's plenty around if you don't want to eat there. We love Tucson because it's such a small town feel with all the amenities of a big city. You can find mom and pop shops and big chains. Lots of shopping and entertaining to go around. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hacienda del Sol!

I gifted my daughter and son-in-law a Christmas date without small children. They had a marvelous massage, a delicious dinner and a great night's sleep. They enjoyed a leisurely breakfast before heading back home. My son-in-law said it was a great Christmas gift.

This is a wonderful hotel. The hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. The Bar staff and happy hour were superb! Our only suggestions: put a small microwave in the room for heating up the coffee and making tea. The bathroom needed a hook on the door. The portion sizes at the grill prime rib night were large (and expensive.). Please allow guests to share the entre, for an additional fee, so that this extra food isn’t wasted.

We stayed at Hacienda del Sol to celebrate our anniversary, and it was the perfect choice. The rooms were incredible, large and nicely decorated with a balcony and a great Mountain View. Each pool area had a heated pool and spa. Sunday brunch at the grill is a must.

Overall experience was very good. Wonderful location, dining quality, prompt and very friendly service. Beautiful character. Very attentive property manager.
The only thing (and it’s a small element) is the included gratuity in every service without consulting with the guest. Gratuity was even automatically included in my purchase of clothes in the spa.

Cold food, apathetic staff. I went to a reception at this property and spent the night. At the reception, all the food was on canned heat burners which had long expired when it was time to eat. I asked the staff to bring some hot food and they brought more cold food. It is like they had no idea... So I decided to go to the restaurant bar and buy my own. Yes it arrived cold.
$35 resort fee includes bottled water and internet in the room. There was no bottled water and internet did not work that evening. I told this to the associate upon checkout and got the standard poorly managed response- I will mention it to a manager. Like I am going to wait for somebody to find a manager on my way out. Zero empowerment where it matters. Just another bad guest I suppose...
