This place is hard to describe other than to say it transcends normal descriptors. We came across it by chance as we were passing through the Minervois area heading south. The hotel of 8 rooms is in a 15/16th century historical building in a wonderful medieval town. The scale of the renovation and the beauty of the building with its atrium brggars belief. Our bedroom and shower room were on a grand scale and finished to a superb standard. Very comfortable. The only criticism I have is even a curtain in the shower room doorway would offer some privacy. The breakfast was excellent and the patron is a full of fun character with intelligence and local knowledge thrown in. This is a special place!
