The room was clean and affordable. The staffs were accommodating. The astro inspired costume of the front desk staff is very creative.

I want to warn other travelers about this place. The front desk staff were polite and actually tried to help by moving us to a different room twice, but every single VIP room we checked had an overwhelming, toxic smell. It smelled like harsh paint or gasoline. Based on other recent reviews mentioning a "standing water" or damp smell, I can only assume they are using some chemicals to try and cover up water damage or mold. It wasn't just an odor — after 10 minutes in the room, me and my wife started getting dizzy and she developed headache. It felt unsafe to sleep there with the AC trapping those fumes inside. Even though we had already paid, we decided to pack our bags, take the loss, and move to a different hotel late in the day just for the sake of our health. The downtown location is convenient, and the staff did their best, but no budget price is worth feeling sick. I highly recommend avoiding this place.
