They need to do more cleaning in the wash room and CR area. CR has molds and water pressure is low. The other shower area is not working. The heater is not working and faucets need to be fixed. The room is clean- Bedsheet, Linen, and pillow cases smell good and clean, no stains. If you want to rest during the day, I don't think you can sleep well because of the noise from outside, not sure if those are tenants or staff from the hostel. The location is good because Sto. Niño Church is just a few steps away and there are jeepneys and taxis around that you can take. No free soap, shampoo etc. If you want cheap accommodation for a day or 2 then this is good for you. Overall, I will give it 3.5 ⭐. Ty

AVOID. This hostel is run by criminals. Read below. There is no receptionist in the hostel. The administrator Nino or Neno - (a short at 1 m 60, greasy guy in green t shirt on photo,)who was sleeping at 2pm daytime was awaken and threw me out refusing to reimburse already paid accommodation. The reason he threw me out is that they didn't like how I demanded basic amenities (there was no electricity and no explanation why it's so and no possibility to contact the actual owner. Nino tried to kick me and rudely touched me throwing me out. The police is already informed. The trip com sales team promised to take this listing down.

The hostel is located near the Independence Plaza and Basilica Minore Del Santo Nino. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The dorm is equipped with curtains and staircase for reaching the upper deck. Socket is available next to each bed. Hot water seemed to be available from a separate boiler and needed to be mixed with cold water in a bucket. Overall, I think the hostel is better than expected.
