Quest Hotel & Conference Center Cebu

The hotel's hardware facilities are pretty standard. The dinner buffet offers decent value for money. However, the hotel's room service is quite rigid. My plans changed, and I wouldn't be able to use the breakfast. I had communicated this four or five days in advance, asking to switch breakfast for dinner or upgrade to a room without breakfast. But the hotel lacked flexible management and consistently refused. I'm very dissatisfied with this aspect.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! The hotel's downtown location is super convenient, just across the street from Ayala Mall. Plus, it's within walking distance of the famous Michelin-starred roasted suckling pig restaurant, House of Lechon.

Overall, the hygiene was good; I didn't encounter any small bugs during my stay. The towels were a bit old, so if you're particular, I'd recommend bringing your own. The location is very convenient, right near Ayala Mall, just a few minutes' walk away. Security is also fine, there's a safe in the room. You need to use your room card to access the elevators. The room isn't very big, so it might feel cramped if you're traveling with children or have a lot of luggage. The air conditioner and extractor fan were quite noisy. Being close to the street, you could still hear some car noise from outside, even on the 16th floor.

It's a decent, no-frills hotel. They now have a self-check-in machine, which is a big improvement compared to the old days of long queues at the front desk. If you're driving, the location is a bit tricky. It's near the bridge, but you can't go straight under it. You have to make a U-turn and then a left turn.
