Please note, the hotel doesn't respond to emails or booking services. A request to cancel one of the three nights was simply ignored. The receptionist told me to call someone and deal with it personally, but she had no intention of doing anything.
The location is an acquired taste: Cebu is at least 50 minutes away by public transportation, the grab bar doesn't work, and the hotel's Wi-Fi is poor. There are no cafes or shops nearby.
The grounds are pleasant and well-maintained. The beach is small and shared with locals, but dirty and crowded.
Breakfast is included, but the portion is small and unappetizing. The meat is like cat food, while the juice is delicious. There were a lot of children at the hotel, which is a plus for families with small children, but a significant minus for couples without children (like us). Everyone was screaming, there was screaming outside the windows, and there was crying at night—in short, it was terrifying.
As for the cleanliness of the room, there was no hot water, the pressure was a trickle, but there was a bucket and ladle, which saved the day. We didn't even stay three days; we left early.
I won't give the hotel a bad rating or lower its rating. Perhaps this is a one-off, and the hotel management will listen and investigate. I've only described my experience here, which, unfortunately, was negative. Yours may be different.
