All on expected level except one but pretty critical for me issue - air conditioning system is covered in mold. It have had severe implications for me - I’m allergic to mold and have got severe allergies just few hours after arrival while I couldn’t figure out what caused it. Room felt very moist and smelly, so I was hoping turning on air conditioning will fix a problem in a couple of hours, but it get significantly worst. I’ve got another room assigned after I have identified reason (photo attached); alternative room was having less issues (not obviously smelly), but air conditioning system was covered in mold as well. Also pool was on maintenance, what was not announced while I was booking… traveling with kid, I’d have booked another hotel if I had this info.

Great city view. Room size is above average meaning bigger than other deluxe Seda rooms we’ve been to. Misto resto is with a great view but it can be easily get full and refill takes time especially the bacon. There is direct access to the Mall which is a good thing however there is not much yet in the Central Block Mall but the basics are there. It could have been 5 star if not for the front desk who called in the middle of the night 10:30pm. They interrupted our sleep for a mistake. We were asleep when they called to ask if we’re done with the iron and board which we previously requested but declined because there was no available. Other than that, it was a great 2N/3D. We’ll comeback when in town.

I had a wonderful Christmas Hotel 2022 Staycation experience courtesy of the Main Hotel and Suites located in Barangay Banilad in the City of Cebu. This is my 21st Hotel-Resort-Farm-Campground Staycation in total here in Cebu since Christmas 2020. I instantly noticed most of their guests are foreign tourists. I easily feel the warmth the moment they welcomed me and I could feel at home away from home with their kind and accommodating staff like the  Housekeeping personnel, Irene Tolentino who carry my traveling bag to my standard queen room while having my vlogging, and Stanlee Montecalvo for the maintenance for something that needs to be fixed with Security Guard Jonathan Mendoza who act as my cameraman and delivered all my needs in the room. All these things are made possible by Front Office Associate Joyce Villanueva from the booking reservations up until our constant communication as she instantly answered all my queries and requests weeks before my stay. I got the biggest surprise when I was given that amazing Christmas gift hotel room upgrade on that Christmas morning when Front Office Associate Sheila Matuguina handed me the key for the Main Suite Room with a king-size bed, a sofa, a spacious shower & toilet, a personal refrigerator, a kettle, safety deposit box and has a small balcony overlooking the city view. I could still remember this beautiful serene Christmas night when I powered off all the lights while I was seating on top of my big king-size mattress with large soft pillows at my back and on my head while leaning on the wall. I was deeply mesmerized by the beauty of the city by night from the main suite room window. I couldn't imagine that I can have this kind of wonderful celebration on Christmas night blessed with good weather and a good climate. Two years ago, we were in quarantine and social distancing with strict protocol to follow brought by the Covid-19 pandemic, and a year ago, we are to deal with the devastating aftermath of super typhoon Odette without power, no water supply, limited supply of food, most houses were destroyed and several families were homeless. No wonder they have been awarded Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Award winning for consecutive years for the kind of service they have given me. With this track record, now I know the reason why travelers both local and foreign nationals choose to stay here because I, myself personally experience it.

I ended up staying 2 nights at this great hotel. I really reccomend it. Great sized room, fast wifi, good free breakfast, really friendly staff and location great with a cheap restaurant with lovely Filipino home cooked food next door. Just a short 5 minute walk up to Mango Square and the area seems safe enough. I'll go back when in Cebu City for sure!

Service: (4/5). : Kuya Gaurd is actively helping, But Hotel check out is too early and cannot extended even 30mins only. Amenities (4/5): The in-room amenities were top-notch, from the modern flat-screen TV. The work desk and high-speed Wi-Fi were particularly useful for my business needs. However, I would have appreciated more variety in bathroom toiletries. Views (4/5): Depending on the room, some offer fantastic views of the cityscape, while others provide a pleasant view of the hotel. It would have been ideal to have more rooms with scenic city views. Quiet and Relaxing (5/5): One of the standout features was how quiet and relaxing the rooms were. Despite being in a bustling city, I could unwind and focus without any disturbances, which is a significant plus for business travelers. In summary, St. Mark Hotel's accommodation exceeded my expectations. The rooms were not only spacious and comfortable but also meticulously maintained. We walked in and asked if they had a room available for the night. The reception personnel were very helpful and accommodating. The receptionist asked us to check the rooms available and we had a choice of Suite rooms, deluxe room or superior rooms. My wife chose the superior room. We paid for the accommodations and headed to the room. The room was really big with numerous windows on the 4th floor. The room was clean and had a king sized bed. The furniture is fine but some attention should be placed on the condition of the table. As I placed my elbow on the edge of the table it fell over due to a weak base and not properly attached. We didn’t use the table. We ate breakfast at the hotel and it was really excellent. It was better than most places we have stayed. We invited some relatives over during the afternoon. We decided to have dinner in the hotel. Although the menu was not extensive it has enough for the average group. I ordered the pork steak with fries. Others ordered fried chicken and pork belly with rice. My wife just ordered a green salad with Thousand Island dressing. Although the meal took a while it was all placed on the table together. All orders were very tasty and well prepared. We would definitely eat here again. Overall I would recommend the hotel to anyone needing a quiet place to stay.

At Horizons101 this well located studio unit is just a short walk to Osmena Fuente and the great eating place - Robinson's Food Court. Lovely swimming pool open 6 days but always closed on Tuesdays. Easy to get to Ayala Mal, SM City or SM Seaside.

The hotel is a half hour drive from the airport (if the rubb can't be used, you can ask the airport information staff to help you book, you can pay cash). Hotel service staff is very good, you can also help you use the grab car to go to the city scenic area (hotel grab to fort110p) (fort, cross, St. Baby Church walk between, the next Apple comes with a map). Not much to eat around. Go to Maya Terminal for 4 hours taxi (3000-5000p). It’s good to stay for one night.
