This is my first time booking at this hotel and I stayed for 3 nights. It feels like a 3.5 stars hotel but they claim to be a 5 stars hotel. If you follow my reviews you'd know that I rate, review and critic honestly and professionally. At this hotel I got the Bulgari Suite. I'd the suites was 4.5 stars, customer service is 5 stars, but the hotel I'd place it a 3.2 stars based on followings: - Reception: very friendly, helpful, polite and customer service is a 5 stars hotel experience. The customer experience manager and Flo are highly trained and professional. That was above excellent because of those 2 ladies. - Lobby and vibe: I wouldn't give it a 5 stars because this hotel honestly isn't 5 stars. It's clean but outdated, it feels like a 5 stars lobby from the 1980s if even. - Rooms: depending on the room you book. If you book the standard rooms, you'll get a a 2.5 - 3 stars feeling (not 5 stars). If you book middle - high range rooms, you'll definitely get your money's worth. All rooms are moderately specious (30 - 45 sqm). Rooms are clean, beds are also clean with fresh smelling pillows and they are well prepared and feel right at home. - Restaurants & Cafes: the breakfast includes standard Continental, Western, Local and East/Soutth Asian and Middle Eastern (a bit of everything). The food quality isn't close to 5 stars (it's NOT the fault of staff), the quality isn't there to claim 5 stars. Plates, glasses, cutlery are stained (NOT from staff), it's because of the dishwashers they use mostly outdated. Also worth mentioning, the quality of guests isn't 5 stars (no political correctness), guests cut lines, poor table mannerism, loud laughing etc. The hotel attracts a below middle class guests. - Gym & Pool: the gym is excellent, they have a smith machine, cable machine, dumbbells, free weights and cardio machines. Typically everything you need for a workout. However, they close at 7pm (unless high season) because they saving power as described on a sign in front of the gym. So, gym and pool, close at 7pm to save power. - Location: you're close to Chinatown and relatively to the airport and Ancol, and everything including tourist places are within 15-30 min drive from the hotel. - The Hotel in General: I've visited and reviewed close to 500 hotels throughout the years and I can say that for this hotel claim 5 stars is a very long shot. A total renovation would even put it a 4 stars. - Summary: you'll definitely get your money's worth at this hotel if you book the Bulgari suites. Otherwise, not worth it if you're looking for a 5 stars stay. I'd take my hat off for the staff, I respect and highly rate each of them, but the hotel itself I'd place it at 2.5 stars. However, if you don't care about the 5 stars claim, this hotel would be good for you. I liked being in the room, gym, pool, chatting with the amazing staff, but disliked everything else about this hotel. Poor foid quality, 2 stars guests quality, not a location I prefer, the restaurant hygiene is poor, the lift is slow, weekend sometimes they have events and the whole hotel feels like a Sunday market with low quality guests. Therefore, my issue with this hotel is they claim a 5 stars that isn't provided by any ISO or anyone but the hotel itself and maybe government connections as such behaviour is common in South East Asia. Lastly, would I go back? No!

Great location, also the swimming pool it’s great! A bit busy but it’s a great hotel for the price of it.

Spacious but old. Foods is average but acceptable. Recommend use vinfast apps for e-hailing. Is the cheapest in Jakarta.

My stay here was excellent. The hotel is in a prime location, making it super convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming during check-in, offering thoughtful and attentive service. My room was spotless and tidy, with a soft, comfortable bed, a full set of toiletries, and great natural light and ventilation. The soundproofing in the room was good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Housekeeping cleaned regularly, and the common areas were always neat. The value for money was outstanding, exceeding my expectations. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip and highly recommend it.

During this 8-day stay at Merlynn Park Hotel in Jakarta, our team truly experienced the hotel’s thoughtful and attentive service. Throughout our stay, the hotel staff member FLO made us feel genuinely welcomed and at home with outstanding hospitality and care. We highly recommend that the hotel recognize and reward FLO for the excellent service provided.

I have good experience stay in here. And when I booked other room for my parents, the manager on duty give me free upgrade to Tiffany suite. So lovely, next time I ll come back again for staycation. Thankyou Merlyn park hotel

The room was quite spacious, with both a bathtub and a shower, and it looked like it had been renovated. The bedding had a slight musty smell, but overall it was pretty decent. The air in the room felt a bit stuffy. Breakfast was good, though it got quite crowded. The service, however, could use some improvement; it's an older hotel. All in all, it offered pretty good value for money.

We stayed at Merlynn Park Hotel Jakarta during a business trip. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything was working properly. When the phone in our room stopped working, we were quickly moved to another room without any issues — thanks to the staff for their prompt and professional service. The spa is excellent and open until 11 PM, which is very convenient after a working day. Room service is also available, making it easy to order food to the room. As a small downside, all three restaurants offer the same menu, and it would be nice to have more variety.

Got swimming pool indoor and outdoor. Toobad indoor was under renocation till 3/3. The room consider big rven my room is the lowest tier also got bathtub I got issue with the bathub, no individual shower spot. Which im ok but no place to hang the shower head. So have to keep holding if im not using bathtub to take shower This is old hotel but the good thing is the buffet. Best buffet so far for me alot of choices

They don't know English bad communication with all the staff, the pool out of order and they didn't say it at the beginning, the lights in the room come and go, for the room service to get food in the room they are extremely slow sometimes it takes hours

Very Satisfied. What a class hotel it is👍 Room are awesome 👍 Service Was also very good👍 and breakfast was amazing i never saw such a biggest buffet in breakfast. Much recommend 👌 Will book again whenever come to jakarta

Just stay for 1 night. Staff very friendly. Location .. need use grab to go nearest destination. Room very big and clean . Breakfast very nice. Many choices. Recommend
