The Orient Jakarta, a Royal Hideaway Hotel

This hotel boasts beautiful and very photogenic facilities. All the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The breakfast includes local cuisine. The downstairs restaurant also offers a wide variety of delicious local dishes. Furthermore, it's conveniently located near a metro station, making it easy to access shopping and entertainment areas like SCDB and Blok M.

Perhaps because it was a Sunday, the front desk staff and the restaurant staff next to them were very pushy, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Everyone, including the porter, seemed irritated. The pool on the 5th floor was the best place to relax! The jacuzzi was very warm and made me feel so calm. I chose this hotel because I like Bencley, but I don't think I'd want to stay here again.

Great location and friendly service. There's a subway and BRT stop right in front of the accommodation, and it's easy to catch a Grab. Being right in front of a main road, the noise might be a concern for some, and they actually asked me about it during checkout. But it wasn't an issue for me; I didn't even use the earplugs provided in the room. The swimming pool is also as stunning as it looks in the pictures. I only stayed one night because I was moving to another city, but if I ever come back to Jakarta, I'd definitely want to stay for several nights.

I don't recommend this hotel. After checking in, I left my Malaysian Ringgit in the room because I didn't need it in Jakarta. When I checked out, I completely forgot to take the money with me. I only remembered when I was back in Malaysia and needed Ringgit to buy something. I immediately called the hotel to inquire, and they said they didn't find anything in the room. I want to emphasize here that I'm not saying the hotel staff stole it; it's just that my friend and I are very sure I left the money on the desk and chair in the room. I can only blame myself for being too careless and not checking before checking out.

This hotel has an amazing aesthetic, with thoughtful service and excellent, unique facilities. Overall, it offers great value for money. The hotel breakfast is also highly recommended, with a wide variety of choices.

This hotel is an oasis in the middle of bustling Jakarta. It's close to the Bendungan Hilir MRT station. When I arrived, I took the airport train and then the MRT from the airport, and walked with my luggage. (However, for sightseeing in Jakarta, ride-hailing apps are definitely more convenient and cost-effective! I switched to Grab for all my transportation after that. This hotel was also convenient for calling a Grab.) The room, amenities, breakfast, and rooftop bar were all superb, and all the staff were very friendly and wonderful. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Jakarta!
