The room was a bit small, but it was very quiet and clean. The hotel is right by Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street Central Square, with a Mixue Bingcheng (bubble tea shop) next door. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

The hygiene was a concern, but the service was alright. The elevator is tiny, only fitting about four people. Soundproofing is terrible; the ventilation system hums very loudly in the mornings and only shuts off after 9 PM. You can hear neighbors opening and closing doors and moving around, and we could even hear them washing their hands next door. We were woken up by the cleaning staff in the morning. On the positive side, the service was good; they proactively offered us a late check-out based on room availability. The front desk asked about our stay when we checked out, but I just wanted to leave quickly, so I didn't say anything.

I was in town for a business trip and happened upon this hotel, and luckily they had a room available. The front desk staff, particularly Xiao Wang, was incredibly welcoming. Seeing me with my luggage, she even offered to help with my room card. The room was much more spacious than I expected, and the mattress was just right – I slept soundly all night. The biggest surprise was when I had an early train to catch in the morning; the restaurant had already prepared hot buns and millet porridge, specifically for guests leaving early. As a long-haired woman traveling to Changsha, the Laifen hairdryer in this hotel was such a pleasant surprise! Although there's no parking, it's just a 3-minute walk from Wuyi Square Station on Metro Line 2, making it super easy to get there with luggage. No breakfast isn't an issue either; downstairs, a bowl of hot beef noodles at 'Changde Rice Noodles' for just 10 yuan, paired with sugar oil粑粑 (fried sugar cakes), was absolutely delicious. The most thoughtful touch was the Laifen hairdryer in the room – my long hair dried in just 5 minutes and wasn't frizzy afterward; it was even better than my own! The all-in-one washer/dryer in the lobby was also really practical. After exploring, my clothes smelled like cooking fumes, but after drying, they were fluffy and fresh the next day. Ridiculous, ridiculous, ridiculous! To anyone planning to book, just swipe past this! When I booked, the promotional pictures clearly showed a high table. I even ordered takeout specifically planning to eat in the room, but when I opened the door, I was stunned—it was a low coffee table, not even as tall as a trash can. I went to the front desk, and the staff clearly wasn't familiar with the room's facilities nor did they know how to handle the situation flexibly. After checking the system, she told me there was a clean room of the same type on the fifth floor (she wasn't sure about the table either) and gave me a key card to go check it out myself. And sure enough, it was *still* a low coffee table! By then, I was getting a bit angry. She said there was a room with a high table that hadn't been cleaned yet and I'd have to wait. But my takeout couldn't wait. I thought, fine, I'll just make do and eat at this low table. However, she then told me that if I wanted to switch rooms, I couldn't eat here; we'd have to go eat in the lobby (their lobby has a dark style, I probably wouldn't even be able to see my food). We assured her we wouldn't mess up the room and wouldn't touch anything else besides that low coffee table, but she still refused. Fine, fine, I was truly out of energy. I can finally give a proper shout-out to the Bonn Hotel for this stay. When I checked in, the receptionist, Xiao Wang, was incredibly thoughtful. She noticed I had a lot of luggage and proactively helped me carry it right to my room door. The room, though not super spacious, was very cozy, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm, so I slept soundly until I woke up naturally. I really loved the room, the interior design is so cool! Very comfortable too, great amenities. I LOVED the projector. The service was great, 小袁 was very helpful. She helped me find where I can buy an SD Card adaptor. Would have been very lost without her help. 小汪 was also helpful. They both helped me log into the the streaming service on the projector, as I can read the Chinese. The only thing is that that doesn’t supply regular towels, only disposable ones. You can ask for them, which I did and then it got taken away and not replaced hahaha. Just a bit inconvenient to ask every time! Also, it is noisy but I think that’s expected being on the main street where so many things are happening all the time! Just be aware if noise is important for you.
