This was my first time in Changsha, and I stumbled upon this hotel while searching. Seeing many positive reviews and clean-looking photos, I booked three nights directly. Upon check-in, I found everything to be consistent with the pictures and comments – the environment was tidy and comfortable.
The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Yuanpeiqiao Metro Station. It wasn't until I checked out on the last day that I discovered there's a dedicated hotel elevator that goes straight to the lobby (pictured in image one, just past Lawson). Although there are only three elevators to the upper floors, requiring a short wait, it was perfectly acceptable for me.
The room was clean, and the bed was very soft; I personally found it incredibly comfortable for sleeping. Sitting on the chair, I could watch the sunset, which felt wonderful and very therapeutic.
I didn't get to experience the hotel's other facilities this time (it got cold during my stay, so it was just too chilly 😂), and I didn't book breakfast because there were plenty of convenient food options nearby. However, other guests' reviews seemed positive, so I'd like to try them next time.
The soundproofing isn't perfect, and there's a small gap in the curtains, but the hotel thoughtfully provided an eye mask and earplugs, so it didn't bother me much.
Overall, my stay was very satisfying, so I gave it a five-star rating and genuinely recommend it! They also have river-view rooms, which I imagine offer even better views – I definitely want to try one next time if I get the chance.
