Mehood Elegant Hotel Changsha Flagship

I did a lot of research before booking and, after much deliberation, chose this hotel. My stay truly exceeded all expectations. The hotel's interior design is absolutely on point—living up to its reputation as a designer hotel. The room was spotless, the bedding was comfortable, and the shower room, walk-in closet, dressing area, and restroom were sensibly laid out. Sitting by the floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the entire cityscape offered an expansive view and created an amazing ambiance. Especially at night, with the twinkling city lights in view, sitting on the sofa with a cup of coffee and quietly watching the thousands of glowing windows made me feel the trip was completely worthwhile. Honestly, this is a hotel so nice you won't even want to go out and sightsee, haha. The service was also attentive and thoughtful. The lovely receptionist at the front desk was not only meticulous and helpful in upgrading our room, but also thoughtfully recommended local attractions and food spots. The next morning, the receptionist at the breakfast restaurant was equally gentle, caring, and heartwarming. Yazhi Hotel in Changsha truly shows their dedication in every detail and gave me a wonderfully first impression of Changsha. It's a stellar calling card for the city, and it definitely deserves a glowing, detailed review.

I booked this for my parents and they were extremely satisfied. They felt the hotel had a very stylish and artistic design, and they could enjoy the night view of Changsha right from their room. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, the breakfast offered a great variety of choices, and having the subway station downstairs made getting around very convenient. There are also plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area.

The room is okay, but there is renovation work going on downstairs. Also, there are ropes hanging outside the river-view room, which obstructs the window view and really ruins the experience.

Overall, it exceeded expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and had great soundproofing. The public areas were clean and well-equipped. Mia provided thoughtful service, and the guest rooms were spotless. Any issues were handled properly, making for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

The room cleanliness and bedding were both great, and the service was good too. However, there are a few things I need to complain about: 1. I booked a 4-night stay a day in advance on the 5th, but the price dropped by 100 each day, and it was non-cancellable. I feel like I got ripped off by Trip.com. 2. The location isn't right in the busiest core area; although the subway station is very close, walking back to the hotel from Wuyi Square is still pretty tiring. 3. Taking a taxi isn't very convenient either, as the routes are quite roundabout. 4. The bathtub in the room is pretty useless and takes up a huge chunk of space, making the area in front of the bed feel cramped.

My stay here was excellent. The hotel's location is super convenient, not far from Wuyi Square and IFS, making it easy to get around, shop, and find food. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious enough, creating a very comfortable overall environment. I especially loved the city view from the room – the night scenery was beautiful. The front desk staff were very helpful and patiently assisted with any issues. The breakfast selection was also quite varied. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would consider staying here again on my next trip to Changsha.

Overall, I was very satisfied. The room was clean and hygienic, all the necessary amenities were provided, and the breakfast was quite rich. When I left some items behind upon check-out, the front desk promptly called to inform me and arranged for them to be shipped back to me. The location is also good, very close to Chaozong Street and right in the city center, and the view from the high floor was wonderful. However, although the hotel mentions IFS in its name, it is actually a bit of a distance from IFS.

Overall, the stay was decent. The blackout curtains in the room covered a wide area and were very effective at blocking out light. The only minor drawback was that only one bottle of milk bath was provided for the bath, which wasn't quite enough. I hope they can provide 1-2 extra portions next time for a better bathing experience. Looking forward to improvements on my next stay.

The room was on a high floor with a river view directly opposite. The bathroom was located near the entrance of the room and was completely enclosed, making it a bit stuffy and poorly ventilated. Other than that, everything else was fine, and the room was spacious.
